Yah, that guy (Joel) was saying that even though he loved Seattle (he grew up near by it) he thought Portland's scene was more accepting of people. I could totally see you there. I mean, their motto is "Keep Portland Weird" so... Lol
I just thought the male to female ratio this time was funny, cause last time it was even. I did not mind at all ;)

BTW, that tart? SO freaking good. Hit of the potluck.....same with my soup :) Plus, it there were like a dozen guys there and only 2 ladies :P

One of them was new to town and super amazing, and zeroed me out to gab about fun stuff. Very gay and very sweet. He was even trying to figure out what kinda apples I had in my soup. He was close, haha.

It's for a vegan potluck my brother is hosting. He's not vegan, and clearly neither am I BUT damn good food and cool people. So yah! Lol... Its on a puff pastry too. VeganYumYum » Asparagus and White Bean Pesto Tart I modified it a bit, which I do, and put more pesto......mmm the white bean and pesto could just be a dip alone if you heat it in the oven and serve it!
And the soup I made the other day by roasting butternuts, and then putting them with apples and veggy stock over the stovetop till soft enough to mash up. Added smoked pepper and a bit of nutmeg too

The name's Brandon! I am in fact male, despite popular belief. Fancy that!

I love to read and write. I find science articles fun to read, although I don't like science that much. I type random conversations with weirdos like you more than I write. Yeah, I'm full of surprises. And contradictions. Can't forget those.

I'll be headed to college in the Fall (assuming you're reading this in 2010, and not, say, 1837). I plan on majoring in either Communications or Education. I'd love to become a college professor, or, uh... something else. Other than professorship, I've really no idea.

I love chatting up a [rather crazy] storm with people I enjoy being around. Stop by my thread 'SPRINKLES, NOT JIMMIES!' sometime, yes? The regulars and I enjoy new faces, especially when they're as absurd as our own.
