maybe it could be both? perhaps he gets changed because of a new group of vampires and the overwhelming numbers make them leave or…. why did Marcus seek her out again?? maybe he wants something and he threatens bain but when she refuses he attacks him and so she is forces to change him? hmmmm what do you think?
