Alright, sorry for the late reply. I have only been getting on Menewsha here and there, not really staying online for more than a few minutes at a time. It happens when there isn't much going on and I'm bored, heh.
When I think of slate, I think of the Flintstones. XD Hey, better having white walls than those icky fake wood panels from the '70s.
Which posters do you have in your room? You could always make your own, unique poster frames!
I have a low, large window in my room - I put the storage chest in front of it. It's very noticable, but not in the way either. I actually think it is what ties my room together right now.
Yes, I've already looked at the apartment and everything. That's me though, I don't like moving into a place until I looked at it and everything. I'm picky I guess.
Yeah I know, I honestly don't know many others at my school that volunteer on a regular basis. I'm kind of bummed though, the food pantry where I volunteer at will not be open wednesday nights anymore after next week, and that is the only time I can help, so I will need to find something new :(
Haha! That is funny XD I'll admit the name makes the sport seem much more daunting than it actually is. At events we will only have to run a bit more than three miles (or 5km) so honestly not that far, much less far than to the other side of the country!
Yep, junior year! College is not something I am ready to make a decision on yet XD I'm basically avoiding the topic for now  I really have no idea yet!
...continued (I exceeded the character limit, too!)
I didn't HAVE to move, I just wanted to. I was living in Boise, it's a big place. I realized I don't like big cities. I like living in the middle of nowhere, haha! Of course, living with my father wasn't what I had in mind. But it's only temporary til I can get into my new apartment. It's on hold until the current people move out.
Well when things happen with getting your GED, let me know so I can congratulate you!
So kind of like slate? I don't like all white rooms. They are just really boring and can sometimes make a room appear messy (I think it's possible, lol). I really like the colors cobalt and forest green (though that might be a bit too much for one room). :XD Anyway, I like the idea of using cubes to mount on your walls! I should do that! It'd be really fun finding nice pieces to place in them. I don't know if you like storage chests, but those are also really cool pieces of furniture to put in a room. I bought an old one, sanded it and painted it myself. Great places to put blankets...and hide candy and stuff. :XD!
Ah yeah, probably best to get all that stuff in. If you have no other serious adult obligations, getting your GED before getting a job is probably for the best. It's just much easier to find a job when people notice you have something to show for an education.
What color are you going to paint it? :D
It's going okay. I mean, I moved back to Wyoming. But I've got two jobs lined up and I start next week. In three weeks I move into my own apartment here. For now I am living with my father again. Thank goodness it won't be for too long though. I might go crazy again...XD
Yeah I know! It basically drains people of energy and free time D:
Yep! Our summer break starts in June, I'm so ready for it to arrive XD No big summer plans, I'll be staying put, though most likely I will be working a lot of hours and possibly doing a couple college visits or something similarly interesting ^^
Aww XD At least it seems like you have been relaxing! :)
I would say I've been busy in the good way. Though I complain endlessly about my homework, I love all of my classes and what I'm learning so it's all good ^^ I also have a job now which takes up some time, as well as volunteering weekly at a food pantry and working the ticket booth at my city's roller derby league bouts. It's all good fun xD
On top of all that I've started running on a regular basis now. I'm getting ready for cross country season next October ^^
