Yep! :yes: He makes a lot up as he goes along, so the original stories are really only a framework for Wicked. :)

The books really only outline a lot of the concepts; he digs deeper into 'em all, so it's all essentially his own work!

(For instance, there's a "Fairy Queen Lurline" mentioned in the Oz books that he shapes into a mythical Goddess-of-sorts... Stuff like that. :ninja:)

I haven't been able to read many of the Oz books. :insane: I own a collection of all of them, but they're pretty on-the-surface stuff. Not really as in-depth as I'd like them to be, after having read Wicked first...
