I uh.. didn't read the announcement. I jumped right into the event xD I'll get to that in a bit.
The only problem that I have with the event, is that I wish the points were higher for the machines/fuel just because its that hard to put my gears to use on my team. I feel like there aren't enough saboteurs on team Gasket to fully work on breaking team Sprocket's machine. I ought to be giving my gears to team Gasket engineers and just work on being a saboteur because really, its the only way that I'm going to get seeds at this point. But oh well. It'll work out. I need to find a rhythm for this event which I just haven't quite reached yet.
The FAQ has a lot of information in it. A lot. I'll admit that it took me a while to read it and I was confused on some things, so I read it again to try and process it. And what I didn't get I figured I would just kind of ignore it and go with the flow of the event. Seemed the easiest way to go.
Why do you even have a "zomg I'm an utter failure" mode in the first place? DX This is by far the best event that we've had so far on Mene. Far more detailed than any of the others with a much better theme and the whole idea for it is great. Its much better than another garden party sort of thing, and you know everyone is in love with the items! I haven't seen the first event item yet, but I'm sure its amazing! And I know some people complained about the excess currencies, but they're just whiners in general. I wouldn't worry about anything you see people say about it. Wait until the feedback later after the event and just go with it then.
And if you're worried about the FAQs for the events, maybe you should have Sizz help you out with it. See if she can't condense it and make it sound a bit more simple seeing as how she is an editor and all that. Might be helpful!
If I had steampunk attire to wear, I don't think I would pull it off very well. I don't have the right kind of attitude to wear it, and unless I were skinny, I wouldn't have the confidence to wear anything that was more stylish than my usual Jeans and a T Shirt apparel.
I haven't actually really looked t the sets yet. So far I gather that there's a flower set, a mechanic set, and a steampunk set correct? I really wish that you guys had the sets portrayed on avatars like the old days sometimes just so I can see what they all look like together. Some of the items look like they're mixed in pretty well with others. I'll let you know when I actually get a chance to look at them after my power hour.
And let me go load up my media player again with the ep so I can get it for you : )
And no worries about the PM. I'm trying to do some advertising during the event, but I just think its kind of bad timing right now. Hopefully it will work out, but if you do think of something let me know!

I know you probably don't watch Glee, but if you do, what did you think of Kurt's outfit when he was showing Finn their newly decorated bedroom? I thought it was very steampunk of him haha! If you don't watch it, let me know and I'll get a screen shot for you to see <3

Man... There are SO many things I want! I'm thinking about getting the Amazon Kindle 2 soonish, because it just about stole my heart. Sooo, there's that... And so much more! I'm going to hate being out on my own, broke as hell, and unable to splurge on fun stuff! :cry:
Anyway, yeah. When are these commons being released? :roll: They'd be the best pre-event gift ever. Hint, hint. Nudge nudge. ;)
