I would love to build a website. I wish I lived in a place more... helpful? There is not much to do around here, thus not many opportunities to learn. I really need someone to teach me rather than learn from a book. I enjoy drawing but a lot of the times I end up quitting because a drawing doesn't come out the way I want it.
I used to play a little piano for fun, and we have an acoustic guitar (I'd rather have a bass) and an electric violin, but neither of which I really now how to play. Flute is the only instrument I know how. I'm thinking I need to buy a better violin though, but the one I bought was kind of crappy and the string broke while I was trying to tune it. Ah well.
Gosh you sound so determined! :P I need to make friends nearby that can teach me this stuff. :P
Mm it depends on the language. If I'm interested I can learn it pretty easily, but some things I'm just like "Blah!" towards. The Spanish language is one I'm completely uninterested in. But as far as learning to use in real life scenarios, ugh, that's a lot harder for. Even now, I know how to say a few things in Japanese, but ... nothing worth saying really. :P Not yet anyway. Just gotta keep pressing on I guess. Tagalog gave me a little headache. XD But you might like it. :O I never looked at the alphabet for it (if it has one) just sentence--whateveryoucallit.
Haha Yeah. We're saving up and paying off debts (and buying things for the house) until I get out. :P So hopefully at least all our credit cards will be paid off.
I had to quit my first job (and a volunteer job) because my mom didn't like driving me to them. =\
That's good though. :O Most of the time. I seem to have some kind of block when it comes to simple creativity.
Obviously I still have a ways to go in Japanese, but a translator is something I've thought about, but I doubt I could do it. In addition to Japanese, I've tried French, ASL, and Latin, and just dabbed a bit in German, Russian, and Tagalog . I wish I was one of those people who learns languages easily.
Haha. There are always you odd folks out there that do well with "bad" things. :P Jkjk.
My enlistment is up this December if all goes well (assuming I pass my PT test in June and don't get kicked out).
:O! -gasp- Shame on you! My first job was a dog racing track, and my second at a local pizza place.
I'm hoping to do some freelance modeling/illustration while I go to school when I get out. Of course, I do need to get a job though to help support the family, though I've heard I'll get like 1k a month in unemployment. But we see, we see. :P
Aah. Well that's good. We don't have too much luck with HPs in our family, but each computer is different for each consumer.
Well I started in a new school when I took Geometry; so I was already behind, plus the teacher sucked, honestly. I had an awesome teacher for the rest of math though. My last math class for HS was Pre-cal. I graduated with a 4.0 but... I was not very proactive in anything else; so.. the only option for me was the military.
Let me know what you find out doing, it may help me when I get out. Lmao!
:O Well that's good, that things are getting better. Oh man, I passed math in high school just fine (geometry I struggled with though), but I don't remember much of anything from it. And the "college math" I took a while back I don't remember and never really got the concept of anyway. :P
Oy, I hope you have good luck finding a job, the job finding around here is kind of sucky, but luckily I don't need to find a job just yet.
Ooh you got a new laptop?? What kind is it? I'm thinking of getting rid of my data plan phone for a simple phone and getting the iPad.
Call me Strange or Dreamy.
People say I'm nice and smart. I have a lot of ambition and try to look on the bright side of things. I get kind of goofy. My humor can seem kind of random but I don't care because I love to have fun.
I live in America. I am Japanese, German and Norwegian, among other things. I love to learn new languages. I also love to teach. I have a Japanese Conversation thread in the Menewshan Nation. Call me sensei if you like. I am happy to teach at any time I can. But if there are any tips, I am always happy to grow!
I used to be married.. that lasted like a year. Right now I am going to college and working part time. I have been dating my boyfriend over 1 1/2 years. I luffles him. <3
I used to be very shy but I've grown out of that for the most part. I am still very studious. I am trying to always improve myself. It's a long process! Support and friends are always appreciated ;P
