Well, before that. Like... maybe they're kind of acting weird around each other, and then one of them finally cracks, and their love is reciprocated, and then they're openly in love, and that drives Jareth to his sudden inspiration about abdicating the throne and stuff?
What I mean is, not have them be openly in love yet. Just... like, imply that he likes her, and then she likes him, and one of them could "pop the question" as it were?
Uhhh.... I was thinking of making Emilie and Hathion fall in love more gradually. O___o;;; Like, have it be less, "huh, where did that come from?". Does that sound all right for you?
