So like, I've been perusing Elvish (LotR elvish) phrases from the movies. And how about we call the leech thing something like

Nai'Calad?

Calad supposedly is something like "light," and I'm just thinking that "nai" sounds sort of like a negative, like "no" or "not." So... add 'em together and that's what you get. :P What do you think? Any other ideas?

Uh.... No. O__o;; Let's just make something up that sounds cool and say that it's an ancient Fae word for "leech" or "thief" or "robber" or whatever.

Smokey\shadows sounds good to me. 8D And I like the idea of the origins of the Labyrinth, as well. But... not how the leech came to be. It just sounds off. O__o;; Hmmm... Maybe it stuck around because there were people who lost the Labyrinth, and it fed off of the despair they felt that lingered even after they were sent back to Aboveground?
