Funny you should mention it, I bought the DVDs and picked up the Manga of Elfen lied the other day! o_o
And Higurashi no Naku koro ni is about a village that has a curse where the day repeats itself over and over, and people get killed a murderer who changes each day, it's really really gory! Even gorier than Elfen lied!! In one scene a woman holds a kitchen knife to the wall and slashes her head into it, laughing (because the village is being driven into insanity and they need to find out who the killer is)
And Chaos:Head is a new anime, it's this guy who goes online and some mystery stranger sends him a message with a picture link of a guy being stabbed and hooked up by different knives against the wall.
The next day, when the guy walks home from the comic book store at night, he looks into an alleyway and sees the exact same image, and he gets caught on a cctv camera and gets accused of killing the man, and then this mystery Shogun sends him more pictures aaaand I think that's all i'll tell you know before it really really becomes violent here o_o
YEAH! XDDDD
And I LOVE GORE ANIME!
Like Elfen Lied and Higurashi no naku koro ni, and Chaos:Head XDD
And I watch others too, like... Naruto, One Piece, Vampire Knight.. and a lot more D:
