Maybe have Megan contemplate the power she could possibly wield over Zachariah and Raphi and the world of Magara. Maybe she could think about really being in control for the first time in her life that she can remember? But then she could see the pain and defeat in Zachariah's face, something could melt inside her, or remember something JUST out of sight... or something....
