Her love for Jareth kind of confused the Nai'Callait, so to speak, and therefore some of Jareth's magic left the Nai'Callait in it's confusion and transferred to Sarah in her wish to save Jareth and get him to safety, which happened to be the Castle :3
So it was a split second of her having the magic and freeing them before returning to Jareth with a single memory of Sarah~
The last bit I just thought of, but the rest I thought we agreed on earlier :3
