Rather than change a whole name, I think nicknames are the way to go. Eventually everyone will just assume that's your name.
But I think coincidences happen for a reason, so they're really not coincidences that way.

That's true. My cousin changed her name, or just the spelling of it really. Seems like too much effort to change a name though unless it's really terrible.
