Well I didn't know! I ended up putting them into lemon juice, and I wasn't thinking ... I've never grown anything from the seeds before!

Yeah, because then I can just .. put the egg shell into the pot, seedling and all, and apparently it's quite nutritious for plants as it decomposes.
