There was an online message with four of us in it. I kept saying, and I'm sure I said it three times, that someone couldn't hang out Friday. I said twice the reason was he would be in Seoul visiting family. Yet the person said let's ask him and then asked him if he could come on Friday. So the conversation is dead halted until he responds... and that might be a couple hours. I know his answer, no. Which brings the conversation back to the current problem of when to meet... today or tomorrow. Since the person who implied I am a liar has a stronger possibility, she will most likely get her way (as she always does because it feels like she doesn't think about others except for how to use them) and have it today... and I need to know before the last minute so I know whether to get a sub for the dorm tonight or not.

Exactly. And he doesn't have a set animal, he can change between a few, but not an infinite amount. A wolf, a cat, a bird form most probably. Once of each, for different situations ..
Oh it sure can, or it lets you put everything out there through your characters without a worry for anything else.
Yeah like it's something that happened in the past when evolution was happening .... like they're not homo sapiens, but relatives from a different branch of the species. And that, something to keep his mind focus, to make him want to return to humanity.

Ahem, my shapeshifter is a born shifter, kind of an offshoot of humanity I suppose, and without anything to ground him, he loses his mind. So your shifter could meet mine when he's gone down that path, or beginning to go loopy anyway.
