Then here is a response to that that a friend shared with me:

Michael Aaron Powell A grand conspiracy between the US and Korea to cover uo a murder. I was here when this happened. It was fully investigated. Report what i remember was that he was alone inside at the time and most likely slipped and fell inside the pool and was found dead. I dont know they got any of this other info. but to suggest a grand conspiracy and incompetance on everyone involved is ridiculous. I, along with many many westerners in daegu here gave money to the mom to help her financially. She immeditely believed he was murdered...which is her right. But it was investigated. This isnt north korea. No cover ups were involved. No government plots to blow up their own buildings. Its was just a tragic accident.
