I image her slamming on the breaks, screaming and raging asking things like: "Why did you get me in this mess?" and "That was all YOUR fault?!" blah blah blah. Haha. But it'd be Samuel's rising anger is what stops her yelling because she'd recognize she was putting herself in danger.
I was thinking maybe you could write out how Leah presents Samuel with the note her mom left behind, as well. Maybe so Samuel's rage wouldn't boil over?
