And on top of that I am the one setting rotations of the night classes up, making sure we all have an even number of weekends off, and refilling the filtered water at the office... who else does that? No one. Who else complains about not having the weekend off even though the schedule was set up fairly... *sighs*. I'm just being grumpy. They need time to settle in and I need to lay off.
I'm not sure how to explain it except to explain the circumstances that build up to it now. When people taller than me ride in a car (generally men), then they get the front passenger seat and I sit in the back with my knees stuffed against the backseat. I'm only cranky because either I feel squashed or because due to the driving I am carsick in the backseat.
Then if I ride in a car where I am the tallest, then the "shotgun" rule applies where whoever says shotgun first gets the front passenger seat. Then for various reasons, when I say it, it doesn't count and I never say it in time before others do (usually girls). So I am still stuck in the back.
This on top of other pet peeves such as people being late, asking me to cancel my plans to accomodate them and then when I plan something for others, trying to get me to change it even though I did all the work and spent the money and time investing in it.
