Here is something to watch. An anime that uses the angel idea, but treats them more like computers. The angels are a like an internet link to heaven and if something goes when with them, then Heaven is in trouble. This music video shows how one had a "virus" downloaded into her through a kiss causing her angel to have blue crystals in her. But through song, they repair all damage and the mega computer in heaven is saved. Beyond that... the actual music video is super cool. Just a tiny PSA about the sudden absence I had from our role-play(s): The past week was an emotional rollercoaster, and I was not feeling up to par to do just about anything - this includes roleplaying, doing work, pretty much getting up in the morning, etc. I also ended up piling a lot of stuff onto my plate in regards to school, which also accounts for me not being around on Friday - most of today/Sunday. I'm working on posts now because I feel better (and I want to write in our magical roleplays (´･ω･`) *squish*).
I'm so sorry for holding things up.
This shall (hopefully) not happen again.

Starting off in his mind would be pretty cool, that way we have more to write about to do with how he is in a coma and what not, unless you really want to start off in the hospital.
And we don't need to go on about our characters meeting, Icaris will know Marc and Marc will know him.

Well it is up to you really, it's your story in the end. I won't be able to do it until tomorrow, going to go very soon. I think I really wanted to do the imaginary friend idea. That way, he can be something not quite human, but the readers will wonder if he is really Marc's friend or if he is just a figment of his imagination. It will also let you do some in depth exploring of this kid's psyche. Would be interesting.
