Except they aren't animals, despite their animal characteristics. And there would be regulation and all that, just like with any other kind of adoption.
Well Japan has some big cats, doesn't it? Tigers and the like? And then like cats they would be "domesticated" and then it would become tradition I guess to have the children sent off to different places ...
Hm I wonder how they would be found, or discovered? Do you think they would come from Japan and then spread from there? Or there might be some pockets of different kinds everywhere that big cats live , that would make sense.
I have no idea what kind I'd have. *tilts head* What do you think?
