Or, something could go awry and murtagh is injured to the point of death, i know something horrible is going to happen i just havent figured out what as of yet.

Well, since the first book had saphira on the cover, the second had murtagh's dragon, and the third had the elderly elf's dragon, i have no clue. I'm thinking galbatorix's dragon and i think that since the plot is coming to an end i predict that Eragon and Murtagh duke it out again and the varden, including the elesmera elves surround galbatorix in an attempt to take him down.
