okay my idea is a island in a middle of a huge lake. The kingdoms that surround the lake all think they have clame over it and have been fighting about who gets to have it for years, centuries even. But the fighting is getting to a point where everyone is sick of it. A princess/princess from one of the kingdoms decides to go and see if the island is anything special and why everyone is fighting over it. When the princess/prince gets there he/she finds that there is basicly nothing on the island, only a few trees and a cave. But when she/he goest to explore the cave she finds that someone has been living on the island. THe person who has lived on the island was exiled there by one of the kingdoms and found a way to live. But when the princess/prince comes the cave dweller is surprised but then starts to show her the island. He shows her the secrets to everything and the island is actually very valuabel to everyone. But when the princess/prince asks him to go and give the isaldn to her kingdom he says no and she trys to get him to give it to her/him. THe princess/prince stays on the island threw out this whole thing and after a while her kingdom thinks that one of the other kingdoms took her. So they start a whoel new war. So as the princess.prince stays and actually starts to fall for the cave dweller everything starts to crumble in the kingdom.
