About Nikki Neko

Biography

About me: I'm a dreamer,lover of beautiful things, creative, a jokster and owned by my Brett. He's very nice, smart, playful and likes to cuddle. Anyway, I'm an artist who has worked for years with all mediums and now CGs which I like. Have done more paintings and drawings than I can count. Mostly have worked in realism style for Science Fiction and Fantasy subjects. More recently working in the anime/manga style. I have built several anime garage kits of some of my favorite characters (too many of them for me to ever afford them all or have the time to paint and build). In my second model contest at Akon in '01 I won Best of Show with my Belldandy Kit my Parents gave me for christmas. It took four months, tons of patience, painting and repainting her hair, killing my eyes painting the small details and even applying tiny eye lashes by tweezers. That was too much, but, paid off in the model contest. I love all kinds of anime, shoujo, shounen, mecha, yaoi and yuri. I read all of the manga I can get my hands on. Killing my budget as you know. Love J-Pop with my favs Morning Musime, Christina Sa, Utada Hikaru, Malice Mizer, Dir En Grey, Duel Jewel, Ma-aya Sakamoto etc. Also into J-TV mostly S.F. and Fantasy themed. Densha Otoko is really funny about one of the Otaku and his cute funny way of acting. Helped run the Oklahoma City CUUPs Chapter for many years. Later, I was drafted into running a small (too small) 10 year old anime club several years ago called OK Megazone after the long time President got a little too burned out and just wanted to enjoy the meetings without the responsibility. I did that for 9 and a half years (good club experience), then, everyone got burnt out on it and stopped coming to meetings. Now it is all over with. Looking for new friends and new anime/manga clubs to join and help out. Thats all for now. Sorry for the loong ramble about myself - I'm more interested in other people and their activities.
