Mmm, it's hard to keep a thread alive here on Mene thanks to the "no double-posting/no bumping" rules. And it seems like the art threads tend to move slowly around here anyway. I think about the only way an art thread could stay alive around here was if you had plenty of people chatting in those threads to keep them near the top of the page most of the day every day. :XP Yet another reason why I'm a little skeptical about opening an art shop...
It's a hardware issue with her keyboard. So the whole keyboard on her laptop needs to be replaced. The good news is that it's covered under the warranty on her laptop. The bad news is that's not something that can be done in-store. It has to be sent off to the company that made the comp (Hewlett Packard / HP), and it'll take about 3 weeks before Aryah is able to get her comp back.

Yeah, I used to have an art shop when I was on Gaia that seemed to fail miserably (granted, my art has gotten a lot better since then). And then there's the fact that the medium I work in is paper and colored pencils. The thing is that it seems that a lot of people nowadays like CGed art, which I currently can't do (and probably won't be able to do until I get a new comp)
Oh, speaking of comps, we took Aryah's comp into Best Buy yesterday to find out what was wrong with it.

Yeah, paychecks always look better when you've worked some overtime to help fatten them up. :yes: :P I'll probably see if I can't work a bit of OT myself since Aryah's getting ready to go back out on the road.
I'm doing alright. Just hanging out, playing around with my avi's outfit a little, and thinking about whether it'd be worth opening an art shop or not.
