Sad face! My brother is in the exact opposite situation. Lots of games, crappy pc. He might be getting one for christmas though, and I'm buying him a subscription to Xbox Live.
I don't really play a lot of games, and I don't like the "gamer" stuff. I like the sims :<

Yes it is! But, for what I need, it suits me most of the time (except the MAC doesn't fit quite right :()
I had an Acer (HUGE thing), but it died over the summer. The eeepc was a birthday present replacement. I like that I can actually fit my laptop in my backpack and take it to classes. My fiance also has two laptops, so he loans me one of those if I want to play games.
