Yup. That's what I was like. And also wondering where they go such an idea.
Fiaria: *the woman clawed at the man as they rolled across the ground* *his grin told her she had made the wrong move, but it was too late now* *they continued to roll, keeping her from being able to pin her enemy*
*she ignored the sharp pain of something jabbing into her left arm* *her attention focused on the male* *there was a slight moment of panic when her entire left side went numb* *glaring at the hunter she cursed him in her native tongue*
*her growling was stopped by the hunter backhanding her causing her to roll so that she was on her stomach* *things happened so quickly, the cord biting into her throat causing her to give a quiet yelp* Ara *his name was barely a whisper as she reached for the cord with her right hand*
*slowly her breathing grew shallow* *the cord around her neck threatening to crush her windpipe* *unable to focus enough to use her magic she did her best to try pulling the cord away from her neck* *as the cord tightened she could feel her conscious slipping*
*was it really going to end this way? to be killed by some hunter because you were foolish* *one of the last things to enter her mind as her eyes started to close was 'Ara won't save me instead he will be laughing at me for this one'* *her hand slipping from her neck, falling limp to the ground*
((*joins in the snickering* Yes, I loved that too. And now she's like damn it I knew I should have just left. Something just wasn't right.))
My mom. Apparently yesterday my friend who works for my dad, his girlfriend is one of my co-workers, asked her if there was anything between me and the one guy. So today she brought it up.
Fiaria: *the woman's trained eyes could tell the man was skilled* *she continued to watch him safely from her spot within the brush* *the slight smile he gave while looking in her direction caused her to tense, wondering if she hadn't hidden her presence well enough*
*when he moved off in the direction that Ara'mis had left in Fiaria silently moved to keep an eye on the male* *the fact that he moved so silently didn't set well with her* *it was also strange that Ara'mis wasn't totally hiding his presence* *she continued to follow keeping to the shadows, out of sight*
*was Ara really so unaware of danger or had their meeting unsettled him so much to not notice the hunter?* *when the male took aim at Ara as he drank from the stream she could feel herself being torn* *if she was in Ara'mis' position she would just continue to watch or leave. It wouldn't matter if the hunter got his prey.*
*she thought about just leaving, but changed her mind at the last minute* *as the man's finger started to pull the trigger the woman shifted into her true form, lunging from the shadows behind the hunter* *her roar echoed through the trees as she tackled him*
((Go Fia, save the ass...er...I mean...assassin's life. XP))
Yeah, tis fun. I think the funniest part about it is how I found out.
Fiaria: *crouching low in her hiding spot she continued to watch* *he was a hunter of that she was sure* *from his scent she could tell that he was possible not fully human, possible a half breed of some kind* *in her mind she scowled herself for not leaving the area sooner*
((That is fine. Really I haven't decided, just thought it would be a nice twist since both Ara and Fia almost always have someone after them for different reasons. Doesn't make sense that their meetings wouldn't cause issues like this one. Him going after Fia is just fine. It would be funny to see Ara come to help her out. She wouldn't be happy with having to owe him a big favor if that were the case. XD))
But yeah, it was like a surprise kitty. I heard meowing last night at 2am and today found the kitty. He's laying on my bed now staring at me. But yes, I love the kitties. I had a cat my whole childhood but haven't had one since I went to college, and I've dearly missed them.
