And no, you didn't overwhelm me :) It's nice to meet someone with a valid opinion! I find it incredibly easy to agree with, though it's hard for me to believe that you can simply classify magic so simply. Demons and spirits offer their ability because they have an agenda, yes. There's no guarantee that you can just use their abilities and not suffer any repercussions.
However, you mentioned that magic can be created, and that I think is something key in our discussion. If a creature would, for arguments sake, be able to create their own magic to achieve their own means, they wouldn't be borrowing from an outside force that could harm them. The sort of enchantments they'd create would be part of themselves, because it came from within them.
And then again, magic is such a varied and inconsistent subject with so many different ideas of what it is, we could just as well be arguing about what God's voice would sound like if he started speaking to us directly. There's probably no way of getting anywhere unless we set some ground rules.

I mean, not caring about how other people see you and dressing to please yourself are two things I've always admired, but it's so awesome to see people take an interest in fashion, hahahaha! What I really like about your outfit is how it's pieced together. Especially with the use of the Iris eye shadow (that's what it's called, right?) and it's combo with the closed eyes. It makes the whole cat theme come together nicely!
Really? That's so cool! You never hear of video games with cool sayings anymore. :P And what makes you think that? I've always thought that magic could be good or evil, depending on its use, but maybe that's an opinion developed from so many Gibli movies, hahahahaha XD
