I followed the rules, and edited my original post on page 17 that I would like to buy one more set of Easter Eggs from Channah- and I waited and waited because I figured it was going to take a long time for Channan & Mr. Mayor to go through the entire thread looking for last minute buyers.

I never received my 3rd set. :(

Other people advised that I should make a new post, but I didn't want to get in trouble for breaking a rule- so I just edited my original post.

Is there any way that I can get my eggs, or should I just suck it up and face that fact that even though I followed the rules, I still didn't get it right?

(I'm getting really confused by the mixed messages I get on Mene :cry: I'm trying to be a good citizen, but I feel like the rules bend certain ways for no apparent reason).

Help, please?

Theres a few people selling the eggs in the exchange, you can just buy them there for about the game price...maybe 25-50g more. But i guess if you really want it then you could buy them there.

I don't see why you would have gotten in trouble for posting again if your first post wasn't the most recent post.

. :( That's why I say this site confuses me. If I don't follow the rules, I get in trouble (as well I should); if I do follow the rules, I miss out (which I don't think is fair).

*le sigh* I just can't win *shrugs* whatever. It's no biggie about the eggs...I'm just more disappointed that I followed the rules instead of making a new post and I got screwed for doing what was right. I thought Mene was going to be a fairly simple Community into which I could integrate-but so far, I've run into so many sand pits and brick walls, and I've only been a member for a few weeks :cry:

No offense, but you obviously didn't bother to check the FIRST topic you made where juru told you to just post again.

I issued you your third and final set and they should be in your inventory.

I will make sure that, if we have to manually issue stuff again (which I am hoping we never have to again), that things are clearer. I will say that yes, Channah asked for only one post in her thread. What I think she was actually trying to convey is no chatter, as it is extremely difficult to wade through that to find people who are asking for their item. Unfortunately that was not made clearer. I wish you would have gone back to read my response and I'm sorry you didn't but that it ok. We're past that now :)

I remember you making a thread asking if you should have posted again or not.

I posted and a mod posted telling you to post again.
If something like this happens again, just post again, because chances are they're not going to wade through past posts that they edited as comeplete.

Yeah, thanks. I re-read it, and ` B u t t e r had said to go with my first instinct, which was NOT to make another, even though her post did say to make a new post (I mis-understood what she said because the two answers conflicted...and in the case of conflicting answers, I try to go on the side of the RULES). If you go back and read my response to ` B u t t e r, you will see that it was my understanding that I was supposed to edit, not make a new post. I did not see the rest of the posts because I changed the title saying that the question was answered- and if you read my response to ` B u t t e r, you will see that I said right out that I was editing my post and on which page.

As a new member, I feel like I'm walking on eggshells with almost every post, so I didn't want to go against what the first post stated.

@Popcorn Gun: After I responded to ` B u t t e r, I changed the Title of the thread to "Answered" and didn't bother to go back in there. It was less than an hour before they were going to stop taking egg orders, so I wanted to get my order in on time. I didn't expect any more input after I titled it "Answered"...but thank you for asking a Mod to come post for me. Next time, I will keep checking the thread for a few more minutes before abandoning it after one response.

@jurupamae: Thank you so very much- you really did not have to do that for me. I'm new, and I'm on a "learning curve", so I don't expect everything to be perfect for me (as some people seem to have said about me in some pasts posts in another thread- I won't name any names... :evil: ). I just wanted to know if I screwed up by obeying the first post, or if I should have listened to what that non-mod member (` B u t t e r) had suggested. I didn't go back to the thread to re-check it, so I didn't know a Mod had encouraged a new post, as well.

I'm sorry I'm such a pain in the butt to you guys. :cry: I really am not trying to be a trouble maker or a miscreant in any way. I'm trying to be nice to people here (which is NOT what I do with people on Gaia); I try to follow the rules; and I try to generally go with the flow (which is why I didn't even bring up the missing eggs for 3 days; I figured there was just a back-log of orders being filled, and I didn't want to jump the gun with the "Where's My EGGS?!?" type thread, you know?

I really, really appreciate what you guys (the Mene Staff) did for us users with the manual placing of items and taking of gold for the Easter stuff when you could have just glossed over it with the Special Event Store Items. You guys really out-did yourselves, and I hope everyone is grateful for it :3 I haven't re-equipped any of the eggs yet, but I've seen a Giant Spork running around in the arms of avatars- so I'm guessing that was in one of the eggs XD Very creative and funny!!

Thank you all for your input- it helps me get to know Mene better a little bit at a time. :D

You aren't a pain in the butt so don't worry, and of course I had to issue them. It was our mistake for not making things clearer. Like I said though. It's over with now and in the future things will be clearer.
