Well he doesn't have to be horrible to everyone else, and he just has to be nasty or demanding, not really a horrible person. It's just that ever person playing the master ends up being super nice to the slave and it turns into a romance, not a master/slave. Romance is fine, it'd just have to be a weird scary romance..XD

I personally have been dying for a good slave and master one. Ever single one I ever do the master is always really nice and they end up falling in love...it gets rather annoying. Do you wanna do a slave and master one? (if so, I call the slave XD)
