It is sweet and yes, never can be around each other long. Tara doesn't like it, but knows it's for the best. After all she's determined to never do anything that will lead to causing her siblings harm.
Tara: That it does. *waves bye* *once her sister was out of sight she slouched within her chair* *the woman contemplating what her next move was going to be*
Tara: *her ears flattened, knowing she was probably annoying her sister at this point* No, it never is... *gives Ember a look of, it doesn't have to be that way* It does sound like Rai, but...*is still trying to convince herself that it probably isn't* I'll go see Zin. *gives a weak laugh as she moves to stand* He'll never forgive me if I didn't see him and got myself killed. Though I will try to avoid the getting killed part. *watches Ember* Alright then. *hugs her dear sister tightly* I know we've had our differences, but you know I love you and Zin. Take care and goodbye. *Tara released the other woman, but didn't look at her* *taking her seat again she sighed lightly* Thank you for everything. *all emotion was washed from her face as reached for the bag with her belongings inside*
Tara: That is good to hear. *smiles, taking the bag with her clothes and a few other things* *she was happy to have her clothes back in her possession* If it doesn't involve Ria that will be good. *quietly Tara listened to Ember taking in all the details her sister had for her* I didn't think she was dead, she's too stubborn to die easily. But what would make her head in that direction? *she barely noticed her eyes irritation as she stood* *looking up the female wolf looked slightly torn between going to patch things up with their brother Zin or going to make sure her former lover wasn't in major trouble* If only it was that simple Ember. *there was a sad smile on her face before she finished her own wine*
*huggles* I haven't forgotten about the replies I owe you. I'll work on them tomorrow/today while I'm off work. I had some issues over the weekend so that got me further behind. *pouts* I'm so sorry.
Zin: *he chuckled at Ember's quiet growl, being sure to give her ears a good scratch before lowering his hand* Even if your home is full of people, I won't let that stop me. Being uncomfortable for your sake is worth it. *they both knew that it would be a terrible experience for him, but Zin didn't bring that up*
*upon being kissed on the cheek, Zin smiled slightly* Love you too, Em. *he shifted to rest his head against hers for a moment before finishing off his drink* What would I like you to make when you visit? Wasn't there something you learned to make a while back ... *he looked thoughtful* It wasn't a very complicated meal. Something with potatoes and meat. You made terrific bread that day. *poking at the woman's side, he chuckled*
Zin: *chuckles before nodding* I wouldn't let any curse ruin my sister's ... life. *his green eyes darted up at the movement of Ember's hand, and he watched her fingers toy with a bit of her hair* *with a fond expression, the male took a drink of his water ... just in time to be poked in the side* *with a quiet choke, he managed to swallow and offer a forced scowl* The kitchen isn't dusty. I'll have you know it's the cleanest room in the house.
*his ears perked at the mention of her cooking when she next visited* Just the words I long to hear, dear sister. *Zin reached up to run a hand over the woman's ears lightly* *his smile disappeared as Ember adjusted his glasses for him, and his ears swiveled to the sides slightly*
*the wolf quirked a half smile* Your work keeps you busy, I know. Just as Tara's does for her. *he looked down to the remnants of food before running his tongue over his lips lightly in thought* *at that moment he blinked in surprise - Ember pressed the napkin to his cheek*
No broken legs. I'd have to come to you in that case. *Zin's gray ears flattened softly as his sister wiped his face for him, and he stiffened at the contact as though unsure if he should allow it or not* *the soft sound of his tail wagging proved that he wasn't unhappy with her actions*
