I like it. I like eating tasty things. :D I am not always good at it. Sometimes I fail hardcore. It's trial and error and having an idea of what you're doing.

Ophium 11-02-2013 06:58 PM

I would be better if I cooked more xD
But I guess it's good to fail as well.
You learn that way after all xD

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 07:00 PM

Yeah, learn by doing. If you were interested in learning more, I'd say find some recipes that sound delicious to you and try them out. I try a lot of cake recipes and my friends are always asking for cakes. But I like other things too. I made my very own chicken and broccoli pot pie recipe. Soooo good. Hmm, now I'm craving it XD

Ophium 11-02-2013 07:03 PM

If I was living alone, I'd probably try out more than I do now.

Oh I love pie.
So much.
And chicken pie just sounds amazing *-*

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 07:05 PM

You should start now to prepare for the future XD

It is a delicious pie and pretty easy. It was easier to make the filling for a pot pie that I had realized. Man, now I want to make it!

Ophium 11-02-2013 07:08 PM

Prepare for the future xD
Yeah you're actually right.
But although I'm at home, I don't feel comfortable using the kitchen e_e

You should make it :3

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 07:10 PM

I know how that feels. I don't cook as much because my grandparents are constantly wandering in and offering unneeded advice or this or that. It's annoying. I also like to cook at odd hours, so I do it less than I should. And it's kind of bad actually, cause then I grab some quick fast food or something and my doctor is like "You need to lay off the salty fatty stuff." So I need to cook at home more and not eat out so much. [gonk]

I might. But today is my lazy day, so I might not even want to leave the house for ingredients. Though I should go downstairs and find some food for a late lunch. Be right back. :)

Ophium 11-02-2013 07:13 PM

I only cook simple things so I don't have to use many ingredients or stay in the kitchen for too long.
I'd feel more comfortable if it was my own kitchen.
I could try things freely. Although I could do that already.
But it's not the same.

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 07:21 PM

I know the feeling. I hate when my grandmother comes in with all her busy body advice and starts pulling out crap that I don't need. So annoying and unnecessary. I am a very very solitary person. I like to do those sort of things alone. It's weird, but I won't even clean if people are watching me. Probably a product of my grandmother's unnecessary advice. I don't want to hear her criticizing or offering up stupid comments, so I don't clean :P

Lunch is turkey and stuffing. I used some of those precooked turkey strips that my grandmother had picked up and a box of stuffing, was easy, but not as tasty as I'd hoped. The precooked turkey has this weird sweetness to it. I would have rather cut up some chicken breasts and toss it in the stuffing to cook. And sometimes when I'm feeling ambitious, I'll also cook some mushrooms and warm up a cream of mushroom soup to use as a sauce on this delicious mess. Om nom nom.

Ophium 11-02-2013 07:36 PM

Oh I am the same.
I'll wait for my mother to go to work before I start cleaning,
which makes her bitch at me if it's untidy and she is still around.
I don't know, I just don't like it.
People get in my way or keep me from doing my things.

Oh you know, that sounds so good right now.
I've never eaten turkey before.
And I'm no fan of mushrooms but mushroom soup is good.

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 07:43 PM

Agreed. Agreed a thousand times.

It's a really easy thing to whip up. I concocted it while I lived in the dorms, because you can cook the chicken in the water you boil for the instant stuffing, then dump the stuffing in and that's done. Ok, how can you like mushroom soup but not mushrooms? Is it a texture thing? If you stick to button mushrooms, you're safe. That's the kind in the soup. I love mushrooms, but I'm not a fan of shitakes. They have such a weird texture, it's like chewing flesh x_x

cuppycake_geek 11-02-2013 09:05 PM

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 11:02 PM

Welcome back. Some mushrooms are better than others. Like I said, shitake weird me out.

Ophium 11-02-2013 11:04 PM

weird you out xD
yeah, I understand that.

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 11:08 PM

They do. They have this sort of squish and squeak that is soft of like rubber, but makes me think I'm chewing on a human ear O_o

Ophium 11-02-2013 11:11 PM

....
[rofl]
okay.
I will never ever try them.

Cookie Clone 11-02-2013 11:11 PM

Sorry. XD But that's what it seems like to me.
