The beginning of the Host Club also sounds great to me~

I'm not really how far along I am, actually. The last thing I remember watching was about how Gojyo and Hakkai had met, and learning about Hakkai's past and how he had gone from being a human to what he was now.

Any time after or before that point it fine with me.

Now, as for how they meet. . . . Hm . . . . do you have any background information on the character you plan to use?

All right, that's good. So how about if Sanzo and company come across Desirée while she is playing for money? Sanzo, of course, probably continues on, but I could see Hakkai or Goku stopping to listen and tipping her. I could even see them inviting her to have dinner. And perhaps something happens during dinner or later on in the evening that would make her have to stay with them? I'm not sure what that would be just yet, though...

As for my character, I'll have to create her now. :sweat:

Name: Ruolan Feng
Age: 20
Brief Biography: Ruolan, unlike Desirée, Goku, Gojyo, and Hakkai, is a normal human woman. Throughout her life, nothing unusual or traumatizing has happened to her. That is, until the many demons that continued to live among the humans began to become restless and unruly. Many were able to continue to stay sane, while many others saw the sense in shedding their power limiters and showing the humans their true selves. After all, why should they have to be the ones to change? Removing the accessories has been a death wish on those unfortunate enough to be around. When Ruolan was seventeen, the movement began to pick up pace and swept over her town; when many of the demons had removed their power limiters, lost self-control, and all hell broke loose and many in her town were slaughtered. Now on her own without her family and unable to find closure, she travels to India to seek the answers that she desperately needs in order to move past that time in her life.

That would be all of her biography, but there is more to her profile than that. If you'd like to see it, of course, to help brainstorm I'd be more than happy to share.

Any ideas on how Ruolan would meet Goku, Gokyo, Hakkai, Desirée and Sanzo? I think that, maybe, once we have the meeting sorted out everything else should fall into place, right?

I agree. That won't be a problem to do at all. :)

I'm a little hesitant of the idea of running into a demon in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time being a lone traveling female as she is she would be the perfect target. I'm just afraid of making her seem like the "Oh, woe is me; bad things happen to me all the time" kind of character. xD She's quite the fighter, even if she can't take the demon. But at the same time she'll need something a little more permanent than being a maid at an inn, or a waitress/barmaid at a diner or bar. Of course, if something happens while Desiree and the group are there, it would also draw them all together.

I think for Ruolan, I'll opt for the second choice. She can play a minor roll while Desiree can play a more major roll until whatever we decide to happen does happen; then they'll both be involved equally for the most part.

Now because the group is so eccentric, a group who's all for chaos and resurrecting Gyumaoh, attacks them in the inn. When it becomes apparent they're very inept and needs more practice, they retreat. And that's what the role play could be about? That small group focuses on becoming better than they are now. Along the way we find out more about Desiree and Ruolan, allow them to grow, and have the path riddled with difficulties; romance between Desiree and Hakkai, and Ruolan and either Goku or Sanzo (but the priest is not really a romantic kind of guy, I think); and the currently unnamed group who provides obstacles along the way? Until the ending, that is.

That's my idea, in a nutshell. What do you think? Anything you want to add or subtract, or even change completely?

I'm glad you like it! The things we can come up with together when we put our minds to it! :P We're amazing.

Since there's four of Sanzo, Hakkai, Goku, and Gojyo, four supporters makes sense to me. The fifth one, if we decide to have one, could perhaps be the leader of the group and the one behind its ministrations, the one they face at the very end of our plot?

Oh! Oh! What about Kougaiji, Lirin, and Yaone?

Aww, I like the idea of a little competition between Sanzo and Goku. Two completely different personalities going for the same girl. That would be interesting to watch unfold.

So, if that's the case, I guess that means you have Desiree, Goku, and Sanzo. And so far I have Ruolan, Hakkai, and Gojyo. Since that's three apiece, as the role play goes on we can divide any other characters between us evenly as we both see fit, right?

Since we have that figured out now, who would like to make the first post and make the thread? Or would you prefer this to be in private messages? (I know some people can be a little picky about that.)
