It is! I loved it at least. I got lucky too, friends had the manga so I could borrow it from them. :)

Well, I'm gonna go get started with that drawing. Nice talking to you. ^_^

Clair Voyant 02-18-2010 02:41 AM

I've been watching the anime of Fullmetal Alchemist. but cartoon network decided to introduce the new FMA Brotherhood right in the middle of the other series episodes. They had like 20 episoded to go! Now I have to find it the library has all of the dvd's. But in case you're interested I heard that Brotherhood is suppose to follow the manga more closely. That always seems to be the case when a second series is introduced.
I haven't read bleach either but my brothe sent me a couple of the mangas from Japan. I've watched the series for awhile but quit when the story wasn't that great anymore.

Suona 02-18-2010 06:30 AM

FMA is a hilarious and good show. 8D;;

And bleach is a good show, too

nette 02-18-2010 06:38 AM

I missed Fullmetal Alchemist the first time it was on american tv a few years ago because I found the voices to be annoying. But after watching it I found out why Al has the voice of a child and have grown to love that character. It's a great show and is my current favorite to watch along with Inu-Yasha which I missed watching for the same reason. I'm so nit picky with my anime voice actors.

Suona 02-18-2010 06:48 AM

I love all the animes, but I dont much of watch them anymore
I kind of grew out of that phase in high school. It was really strong at the time when my friends got me attached to it. I use to watch Inuyasha every night. lol I bought my friend the entire season with all the movies for christmas a few years back. I dunno if she's done anything with it lately, though.

And FMA always cracked me up

nette 02-18-2010 07:05 AM

Oh :/ I've apreciated anime as an art form I guess along with entertainment. But I've been watching it since the early '90's. So I've likedi t for a long time and when I was in college I didn't have the time or money for it. So I've only gotten back into the craze in the past couple years or so maybe more it's been awhile. I've always had an interest in animation though along with most of the rest of my siblings. My sister went to grad school for animation too :)

Hee Fullmetal is pretty funny. I like seeing Al's reactions the most :D

Hey there, how is everyone doing tonight?

Rhumbullion 02-18-2010 07:25 AM

Sora! Hi there! I am fine. Bored but okay. I should be working on some av art...

Suona 02-18-2010 07:29 AM

@ nette - I still love it, really. Its really great and comical, and the characters are always fun. I still think its awesome, but i've just grown more attached to other kinds of shows. Its also kind of one of those shows that you have to catch every episode just about, or you're lost in the plot. Or maybe its just been longer since i've watched anime then I remember. It truly has been quite some time since i've watched it regularly. I never see them on anymore, actually, and I have learned not to turn it on in the living room anyway, because I have been the only one in the household to watch it (brother watched it for awhile, but stopped when he saw I liked it, I think), so my parents don't much appreciate me having it on half the time. But i'll turn Avatar on sometimes. lol Its on all the time, and we keep the TV on constantly to make our bird feel less lonely if we're not talking or not home, so I try to find shows to watch idly when i'm in the room.

lol Yeah, and Ed's reactions are pretty hilarious, too.

Rhumbullion 02-18-2010 07:37 AM

And then there was silence? Or am I lagging?

Suona 02-18-2010 08:01 AM

Nah, just silence
I'm off to bed in a few

I see well that's how I am sometimes if it's a show I'm not sure someone else will like. Avatar the last airbender is awesome. I read a review on amazon once that said it was the best fake anime. haha made me laugh. Great show.. I should watch it again sometime. Yep the Elric brothers are deffinetly a commical bunch :p

That's cute that you keep the tv on for the bird. I used to have paretkeets and I don't think I've ever thought of doing that.

Suona 02-18-2010 09:01 AM

lol It totally is. Its like anime, but totally not.
I find it very commical, though, and i'm always up for a good laugh.

Well, ours is a scarlet macaw, and they are very attention needy birds. They act like 2 year olds and require a lot of attention. So, my mom decided to leave the TV or radio going all the time so that he feels less lonely when no one is home, or when we're home and silent. I think its usually on all the time now. ><;; I turn it off when i'm here and its annoying me and he seems content enough, though.

And i'm off to bed!
Goodnight. ^^
