Haha! Yeah - Saturday is going to be a busy day! *lol* And ugh, now she's saying that all she suggested was spraypaint.. not that she told me to go to a costume shop. But now another friend has black wings (and I think I may just go with those and if she doesn't want them back - I'll buy grey spray paint. =])

Oh, no worries! And have fun with your friends! Tomorrow, I need to do some homework, and catch up on sleep, and then Saturday, I'll be down at Sac State and with mom for most of the day. And then not sure about Sunday yet. *lol*

Lavinia 10-12-2012 05:07 AM

Ooh i suppose i'll spend sunday here as usual. I get to be lazy cause my grandad makes a sunday roast for us all so i don't have to do any cooking or pots woop!

I'd be tempted to go to this party, but i feel like i'd be too old and not enjoy it so much. Most of the people goin will be younger than me and im used to bein the youngest at gatherings XD

Then ontop of that its a place i don't know my way around well and if i decide to leave the taxi cost will be alot!

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 05:19 AM

Lazy days are always awesome!
I'm going with some friends to go to Thai tomorrow night - girls night! Awesome!

Good luck deciding what to do! And yay for heating being turned on. And alright, hope that you have a good day tomorrow as well! :)

xuvrette 10-12-2012 05:28 AM

I felt alone in my world... as no one has the same hobby as mine.

Bearzy 10-12-2012 05:30 AM

Hallo everyone! Popping my head in just to say hi!

xuvrette 10-12-2012 05:31 AM

Bearzy 10-12-2012 05:34 AM

xuvrette 10-12-2012 05:59 AM

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 06:35 AM

Lavinia: Omg! I found the guy that I was talking to today on FB!! Apparently I'm already friends with him. [XD] Haha!

xuvrette 10-12-2012 07:05 AM

Friends from the past.

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 07:11 AM

Oh, he only sent me a friend request in the last few months... xD

xuvrette 10-12-2012 07:45 AM

I seldom goes on facebook, and I already forgot who added me... DX
so not my type, real life social network...DX

Bearzy 10-12-2012 07:49 AM

Real life people are weird. :/

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 07:51 AM

I use Facebook because it helps me keep in touch with those who're half way around the world from me. Makes it easier than having to send actual letters (although I do do that with a few friends). =] I love getting things in the post. =]

xuvrette 10-12-2012 08:24 AM

wow actual letters? the snail mail?
That is awesome. Nowadays I only receive letters from banks and advertisement through mail.

Well, actually, I am not a letter person. DX
Good for you. Pen pal, this term is like extinct in my life.

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 08:37 AM

Yes, snail mail - my Aussie mate and I post each other parcels for Christmas and Birthdays, and sometimes others as well. Although with the cost of posting anything over seas, that doesn't happen quite nearly as often as we'd like. But receiving something in the post from someone is totally amazing! <3 I love receiving things in the post! [heart]

I do happy dances whenever I get things that aren't boring things... although today I did get more stamps in the post, new socks, and my voter information for this upcoming election. [XD] I probably should do reading about all the things I need to vote on. xD

xuvrette 10-12-2012 09:03 AM

lol. You collect stamps?
Did you do online shopping?

Bearzy 10-12-2012 09:34 AM

Snail mail! I want an international snail mail buddy!

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 12:13 PM

xuv: I actually don't. Although I do have some awesome Australian Kangaroo stamps now. [lol]

Carzee: It's totally awesome! And I've even gotten to meet her in person! [heart] Although it took us years to get to that point. =]

xuvrette 10-12-2012 12:46 PM

...kinda weary now... with all those news about people getting date-rob/rape/kill.... with online friends. DX

Lavinia 10-12-2012 05:46 PM

Haha Nemo. Thats cool then, maybe thats how he knew you were doing Nano? xD

I know i've been putting a few status' up.

I should really have you on facebook so at least one person doing it can comment so i don't look like the only insane person in doncaster haha!

Anyway im here for an hour but then i'm offski to town for the night!

-points to self- xD

Im in the UK, so i guess that'd be quite snail-maily haha

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 05:53 PM

Just because you meet someone online, doesn't mean they will do that to you. I met my Australian friend online almost 6, going on 7, years ago, and I flew down to meet her last summer by myself, after going from talking to her on Gaia to Gaia and MSN to MSN Gaia and Facebook, to Facebook, then to Facebook and handwritten letters, and parcels, to talking about wouldn't it be cool if we met, but I'm in Cali and she's in Australia - and I asked mum, just to see if she'd be fine, and she said that if I paid my own way, that I could go - so I saved up and bought myself a ticket and then saved up for spending money and on the 25th of May '11, I boarded a plane that took me down there, and I got down there on the 27th May '11 and I was down there till the 11th June '11, when I flew back home. And omg, that was an amazing trip. We hit it off amazingly. And it was sooooo much fun!

This is me (green jacket, standing up) and her! [heart]

And I miss her, and so want to go back!! Which reminds me, I need to add money onto my calling card, so that I can give her a ring soon, because I wanna talk, instead of just online. We can't Skype because she has dial up and it's too slow to download or attempt a video call, unfortunately. But at least we can talk on the phone. :)

Lavi: Quite possibly. Makes me feel better at least! *lol* And totally! Haha! I'll message you my info so you can find me on there. :)

Lavinia 10-12-2012 05:55 PM

haha that is amazing. I really wanna come to Cali and meet you and go to Yosemite camping! But i need a job before i can even start saving for that trip xD

xuvrette 10-12-2012 05:59 PM

wow! That is so great! You go alone to Australia and save up the money yourself.
I am very impress.
I never did those 'stunts' before.

I am a paranoid person, so I expect the worse outcome of most things I encounter.
Which is why I always chose happy stories to read about.

nemo.love_22 10-12-2012 06:00 PM

Yeah, if anyone told me that at 22 I'd be flying half way around the world by myself to meet a friend who I met online - I'd so not have believed them. And that'd be epically awesome! We'd have to go to Tahoe as well! [:D] And I'd need to find a better job too! I love my nanny summer job, but it doesn't pay the best. [lol] [XD]

xuv: I did have a bit of help from my parents with money but I paid them back within a month of getting home. =]
Oh, I was nervous - especially with an hour and a half left in the flight and I realized that she and I didn't talk about where we were meeting - I found her pretty easily, but I was like O.o Gaahhh! But it all worked out. =]

But going and doing that all - making it on an international flight by myself, and all that was definitely a confidence builder! =]
