Welp this birthday kinda sucked. Had to get up early to take my kids to school. Then just me and the dog. Cleaned house. Got kids from school. Husband came home. Fought with my youngest to be able to goo to the store. Didn't get to go to the store, had fast food for dinner, fought with kids to go to bed, watched 2/3 of the new pirates movie, now laying next to a husband who is snoring like crazy. Nothing special at all, just another day in freaking paradise.

just the two of us doesn't happen, we have kids. lol but my mother in law got the family tickets to go see marvel universe live yesterday. it was fun, then my father in law made some yummy ribs and we had cheesecake for desert. so that somewhat made up for it.

It was. and I didn't realize how many pictures i actually took until i got home and posted them on facebook and then the next thing i knew it was up to over 400 pictures. lol but what was really cool was seeing my kids's reaction to it all

I feel as we get older there is no such thing as "good birthdays" like when we were younger. Because: adulthood. My birthday this year was pretty crapy. I didn't do anything to celebrate. I was forced to work because of mother's day. And my husband had to work too. So I understand having lame birthdays.
Also, yeah I've been working a lot. I gave up getting on Mene for a bit. But I'm here now. Well just for a few minutes. My husband and I are going to meet up with my mom and have dinner. That'll be nice. My birthday is at the end of November so I take the Friday after work off and spend the day in downtown Ann Arbor avoiding the crowds that are Black Friday shopping and I get free stuff. Last year my birthday fell on the day after Thanksgiving so I got even more free stuff. A couple times I've gone and seen the Loony Toon shorts at the Michigan Theater.

Honestly I would love to legally change my name to Spencer, but I can't afford it, and I don't want to tell my parents about it, because I'm afraid they're not going to take it well.
