As far as I know, having a Bachelor's is pretty much required to even enter my field. I don't think I've seen a graphic design (including web) that didn't require one XD
I plan to look into internships once I settle in at the gas station and learn to drive. Since entry level jobs are almost non-existent, I figure it's the best shot I have at getting job experience. =_= Trouble is, the school shafts Graphic Design students in terms of web. You only get 2 classes and they don't include Interface Design (WHAT. THE. HELL.) Plus, chances are, your teacher will suck at teaching it. At best you're only going to know pretty basic CSS and maybe a little Action Script. Although personally, I do not believe in pure Flash sites. |
