Iro 09-16-2011 07:42 AM

I was looking for a date where it won't be too short, nor too long for a design contest. :D

Very drowsy right now, actually. I've no idea why I'm feeling so sleepy and tired at the moment.

white2fire 09-16-2011 07:45 AM

I think it's a good amount of time. ^_^

*gives you blanket and pillow*
Maybe you didn't get enough sleep? Or something.

Iro 09-16-2011 07:46 AM

That's good to know! ^_^

Ooh Thank you! *goes straight to sleep*
That might probably be it. I think I would probably take a short nap soon. xD

white2fire 09-16-2011 07:48 AM

I love naps. Haven't been taking them lately though. I think it's cause I turned into a night owl. XD

Iro 09-16-2011 07:49 AM

As much as I would to spend the rest of my life as a night owl, it's not quite possible when I have to wake up early for RL responsibilities and classes. xD

white2fire 09-16-2011 07:53 AM

Yeah, it's an hard world to comply with when one is inclined to be a night owl.
Reminds me of when I had a hard time waking up for classes, slept through three of my alarms one time. That was scary. O_O

Yep. x___x

I used to be such a night owl...now I get up at 8:30 every morning. x__x;;

white2fire 09-16-2011 09:48 AM

FADING! *tackleglomps*
I haven't seen you in forever.
That is early. But not as early as 6am. XD

Antagonist 09-16-2011 09:50 AM

Yeah, it's been a while. :O How's it going White? :boogie:

Oh jeez, I can't ever get up at 6am without passing out some time during the day! :XD;;;

white2fire 09-16-2011 09:53 AM

It's going good. Been working on figuring stuff out. :)
How's Fading doing?

Lol, nice. Eh, I'm up at 6am lately, but that's cause I wake up at 6pm. O_o

Antagonist 09-16-2011 10:09 AM

Okay I guess. Trying to apply for a school for a master's degree and trying to find work at the same time...as well as preparing the stuff needed for the school, etc. :XD

...Oh. I usually head off to bed at 12am, then get up at around 8:30 or 9:30am or any time in between~

white2fire 09-16-2011 10:18 AM

Oooh, good luck with both. I know how hard it can be. Kinda sorta trying to find a job, not quite sure where or what yet.

Lol, yeah, I've been staying up nights and getting to bed somewhere between 11am and noon. Been pretty much waking up at 6pm on the dot. Mostly cause mom comes home at that time. XD

Antagonist 09-16-2011 10:25 AM

Yeah. I've been trying to figure out an interest since high school and I still don't know what I want to do. @__@; So I'm just sort of doing everything and seeing what I like better...already quit my last job since it was too exhausting and I hated having to converse with tons of strangers while being hectically busy all the time at the same time.

lol! My parents would never let me sleep for that long. xP;; Hence my 8:30am get-out-of-bed time...or I'd most likely not wake up until it was at least 10am.

white2fire 09-16-2011 10:32 AM

Oh dear, well don't let the cost of school pile up too badly. It can be a hassle. >_<
Eeeh, yeah, I'm not to big on interacting with strangers on a customer/employee relationship. It can go sour for the employee.

I only sleep for 6 hours. Not that long really. It's not a bad thing to be up early though. ^^

Antagonist 09-16-2011 10:38 AM

The cost won't be too bad if I manage to get in the school I want, as it's a public ones and they're usually affordable. I hope...
Ugh yes! I hate that. Bitching customers are the worst. They nickpick everything and think that you're out to get their money. I really want to just tell them that, "Dude, I'm just an employee on the bottomest rank, I didn't make the rules. I didn't set the cost. I don't have anything to do with how the company's regulations were set up. Bitching at me's not going to get you anywhere. It's just going to raise the blood pressures of both of us and kill us sooner while the company is still making you unhappy." :stare: And of course if anything goes wrong, the director/manager automatically thinks it's your fault...

Oh wow. I can't live with only 6 hours of sleep at night! :XD I need at least 8 - 10 hours.

white2fire 09-16-2011 10:44 AM

Lol, yeah, I've gotten a few easy jobs in that aspect. It was actually okay to tell customers to leave if they were bothering you a lot. My relations with my co-workers could have worked better though. >_>

I think it's cause I'm sleeping a lot more deeply than I used to. So I need less sleep now.

Antagonist 09-16-2011 10:49 AM

Wow, that's kinda lucky, aside from the co-worker-relations part...the directors where I worked are always telling us that we need to treat the parents (customers, since I worked at a cram school for leetle kiddies) like they're our parents, with respect, and all that shit. Some of those kids are pure nightmares. Which was made even worse when the parents themselves were nightmares. And you can't even tell them to shut up and have to listen to them bitching at you while you nod and apologize for things that weren't even your fault to begin with. *facedesk* One of the co-workers there hated me too...well, I thought she hated me, though it later turned out that she's just like that personality-wise.

It's the opposite for me...I usually don't sleep too deeply at night no matter how I try...I tend to sleep deeper when I doze off during the day instead. I'd dream a lot at night, and when I doze off during the day, I often don't dream at all.

white2fire 09-16-2011 10:59 AM

*blinks* I'm wondering why people think kids respect there parents these days. I have news, most of them don't. *shakes head sadly* Apologizing for stuff that's not your fault is ridiculous. I don't like doing it, and am probably going to do a lot less of that sort. It's just wrong. Wow, fun co-worker right there. It's funny cause I got along pretty well with them, but I didn't actually like them. Most of them were slackers anyways.
You should use headdesk instead of facedesk. Then you get a fun emote. Like this :headdesk:

Well, I am sleeping during the day when no one's home, so I bet that has something to do with it as well.

Antagonist 09-16-2011 11:03 AM

lol! That's so true. I've seen enough of little kiddies screaming at their parents and whining and etc...kids these days. *shakes head*
And yes. That's one of the reasons why I quit, amongst many others. I value fairness a lot (sometimes almost obsessively), so having to do shit like that grinds on my patience very much. I'm nearly always restraining myself from exploding...not good for my mental health so I was quite happy to have quit.
I know, I just think that 'facedesk' sounds better than 'headdesk', as I've been headdesking waaaay too much lately. :XD Facedesking makes a nice change and all. :P

....I want your sleeping life. :gonk:

Iro 09-16-2011 11:06 AM

Face slamming makes a good change. Particularly to a wall. *nods sagely*

I've been not so politely awaken by my brother. >_>

i think i am going to go look at everyone's arts.
lovely thread Iro.

Iro 09-16-2011 11:11 AM

Why, thank you! :D

Welcome to the thread, hummy!

white2fire 09-16-2011 11:12 AM

@Fading: Yeah, keeping anger in isn't a good thing. I'm slowly learning how to fix that actually. I'm just so used to pleasing people/hiding emotions that when I'm actually mad at them, I don't always say it. :/
Lol, it does sound like you do use it a lot. I think one day you'll move to 'facepalm.' XD

I know, right? :D Well, I hope I can keep this for a while at least. My sleeping pattern likes to change up on me randomly. Usually weekly. :(

@Iro: Why'd he wake you up? Or how, might be a better question.

@hummy: Well hi there. ^_^

Iro 09-16-2011 11:15 AM

He shouted in my face. =P

@Fading:
Sorry concerning your previous situation, Fading. Glad to know you got out of that hell hole.

white2fire 09-16-2011 11:22 AM

I have to ask....why?
It's just....why? *dumbfounded*
