Peas are only good in the pods!
When you take them out they get mushy and they aren't as sweet! Just like when you take a cob out of the corn! |
Ehhh? You can GET 'em like that? Are you talking about growing them? Because I just have whatever momma makes from the can, and they taste great.
|
pizza, in a microwave, what kind of savages do you take us for, Madame. the civilized way is to lay it out on a flat rock and let it bake in the midday sun. jooooke!! but I can see how not having an oven/stove would make it difficult to facilitate eating healthily on a budget. I think if I didn't have mine, my diet would consist of salads and takeaways. the one true path to a pear shaped figure
|
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT A PEAR-SHAPED FIGURE. You can't buy pants for that.

EW PEAS
EW MICROWAVE. |
EW MUSHROOMS.

peas fresh from the pod are super tasty when eaten raw. I'm not really one for processed foods, companies hide too many dangerous chemicals in them, sometimes the actual cans themselves are toxic. I sometimes eat frozen veg, when money's short, but mainly I cook with fresh veg/ingredients. I'm not quite at the stage of being organic, but the laws on what companies can put in foods, and the types of pesticides used on crops, are alot stricter here. so I'm quite content that the levels of chemicals in the contents are not really that harmful
lol, you didn't figure in applebottom jeans |
My momma would have a fit if I didn't like by taste. Remember when I said nothing is vegan?
GOD. NOTHING. IS. NATURAL. /lol it sounds like I taste things to decide if I'll eat them |
I always eat fresh fruits and veggies. Nothing not fresh. Ever. (Though sometimes I'll buy fresh fruit and freeze it myself for smoothies.)
My parents don't believe in eating non-fresh things. :T We eat organic things except bananas because it doesn't matter if they put pesticides on the skin because we don't eat banana skin. :U A lot of chemicals and stuff are so dangerous and people don't realize it. Like, your average menstrual pad has bleach in it to make it appear whiter. I MEAN. WHY?! WHY BLEACH IT WHEN ITS JUST GOING TO TURN RED ANYWAY!? That's why I use cloth ones, healthier. Even organic pads are healthier. |
Shoot. My mind inserted "bacon" somewhere in that post.
|
Probably when I started talking about bananas?
Hopefully it wasn't when I was talking about blood! |
"eating non-fresh things" with "bananas" right below it.
|
the only fresh food I avoid are GM foods. the idea of a scientist fiddling with the building blocks of my apple's genetic make-up just makes me think of soylent green
|
Makes me think of General Motors opening a grocery store chain.
|
believe me, that's sooooo much more preferable to soylent green
|
Buying your bananas where you bought your car.
Around here, strawberries are octoploid, and there's so much DNA you can pull it out with your hands if you smash one up and let it sit in alcohol. Also, bananas are tetraploid. |
consuming foodstuffs that's mainly composed of
SPOILER |
"SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!"
I always feel gross when I think of that. Ugh. I hate GMO stuff, I try my best to get non-GMO foods. I hate it when anything gets in the way of just pure nature. Why do they feel the need to genetically modify food that's already perfect?! |
I like giant strawberries.
|
Amane is a giant strawberry.
|
because most people that aren't Japanese in the world believe that bigger is better. if you can make food double the size for half the price, and make it look like exactly as it does in the picture, more people will buy it. fair enough, they'll grow another head and glow in the dark, but hey, them's some Purdy looking apples
|
That post is perfect. [rofl]
|
because you are a giant strawberry?
|
Giant strawberries are sweet.
|
That was slick, Ava.
