@Demo: Yeah. I have a little saved up so I'm thinking it might as well be my late Christmas gift. Though the classes clash with another class I want, which is about making jewelry and other crafts. I like shiny stuff, so it's hard to choose. Currently leaning towards learning the shiny stuff first before try crocheting.

I like shiny stuff as well, but I mostly want to be able to make my own clothes like beanies, and scarves. I would also like to make bags and plushies. :B

The blanket is much bigger then I meant it to be. It's for my younger brother who is rather tall, it covers my queen size bed and then some. It's not quite finished yet. Still got the border to do.

@Demo: My love for shiny stuff is currently winning over my want of plushies. XDD
While I'd like to make my own clothes too, it takes too long with time that I don't currently have, so I'll just stick to little stuff. Maybe hats. But no bags or scarves and stuff since I don't use them. ^^;; But definitely plushies. It's like my only motivation to go learn crocheting. xDD

These is not such thing as a blanket that is to big XD
it can always be bundled for more warmth and comfort

honestly I'm surprised you didn't go with a shocked "HOLY CRAP ITS COLD FACE"

Mannequin and mannikin are pretty much the same thing. I just realized you can spell it two different ways.. xD You learn something everyday.

I have no idea what kind the teacher in that class will be teaching. It'll be a while before I take those classes though, learning how to make shiny stuff first. o wo

I tried to learn that stuff but I just don't have the finger coordination to get the looping right :(
my mom makes me all kinds of stuff though, hats and scarves and gloves and blankets and dog coats O.O
