Ethan woke up the next morning and looked around the room, surprised to See Gemini sleeping beside him. It took a while for him to remember that they had gotten married yesterday. Chuckling, he kissed her cheek softly, hoping not to wake her and decided to go check on Skylar. Carefully, Ethan crawled out of bed and walked out of the room and to the living room where he saw Skylar sleeping still on the armchair. "Must be tired too..." he said to himself quietly before walking back to his room and slipping into bed, waiting for Gemini to wake up.

It took Gemini a while to wake up.She had spent so much time prior to the wedding awake,that her body needed as much sleep as possible.But wake she did,slowly,as she wondered for a second where she was.It came back to her when she spotted Ethan.They were married,and she was sleeping in his room.In his bed.That thought made her blush,but she covered it up by stretching."Good morning." She said.

Ethan yawned and smiled. "Good Morning Gemini. I take it you slept very well?" he asked and kissed her cheek before thinking of their lives now that they were married. He hoped that nothing bad ever happened or that she ever regretted marrying him. Yes she was a princess and he knew that she could always do so much better than him, but he loved her and was never going to let her go. Just the thought of her walking away caused him to hug her lovingly in his arms.

Gemini squeaked a little in surprise as he hugged her close,but she cuddled up to him anyway."I slept fine.Your bed is comfy.And...it's nice to have you there next to me when I sleep.I felt safe." She said,blushing a little.

Hearing her, Ethan chuckled and nodded. "Yes, I suppose my bed is pretty comfy huh? It's so much more warm now that you're here too you know." he commented and smoothed out her hair. "Well Gemini, you know that I'll always be here to keep you safe. You'll always be safe here with me...I promise." he whispered and held her close.

Gemini smiled into his chest."I know.That's why i feel safe,because I know that you'll always be there for me." She said."You're the first person I've ever been able to count on that way.No one else...only you.So that's how I know,because I know I can trust you."

Ethan smiled and relaxed with Gemini in his arms. "It makes me happy to know that I'm the only person that you can count on, I won't ever let you down." he started, "I'll do anything to keep you safe even if I have to die doing it. Of course I'd never die though, I'd always find a way to come back to you and hold you just like this." he stated and chuckled before stroking her hair softly. "I love you." he whispered.

Gemini giggled."Good,I'm glad.I like you holding me just like this." She said,giving him a quick squeeze."And I love you too.Always and forever,even after I die,I'll be a spirit that loves you." She said,but sobered a bit then."Ethan...you're going to live for a long time,right? Longer than any human.Longer than....me.Will you still love me even as I grow old and you stay young?"

Ethan looked at her and frowned at what she said. "Gemini...love, I will love you no matter what. I love you for who you are...the sweetest person I've ever met. Most people would run away in fear or have me killed. You didn't though. You let me in without a second thought...you loved me for who I was and you weren't afraid." he explained and kissed her softly. "I will always love you no matter how old or young you are." he added.

Tears came to Gemini's eyes,tears of relief."Oh,thank you.I'm so glad." She said,burying her face in Ethan's chest.She still hated that she would have to get old and die someday,but she had years until then.

"Shhh, there there love..." he whispered soothingly. His fingers gently ran through her hair, "Please don't cry love...I'll always love you." he assured and kissed her cheek gently with a smile.

Gemini nodded."I know.I know,I'm not crying like that.I'm just relieved,is all." She said,raising her head and wiping her eyes.She leaned over and kissed him gently,running her hands along his chest."I will always love you."

Ethan smiled softly and kissed her back lovingly. "Hearing that you'll always love me makes me happy Gemini. I would hate it if you stopped loving me and left." he answered and kissed her again lovingly. "I love you so much." he whispered.

Gemini chuckled."That will never,ever happen.I promised you when we were kids,and I never break my promises." She told him."Would you like some breakfast? Or should we just stay here?" She asked.

Ethan smiled and kissed her softly. "I know, and I always looked forward to making that promise come true." he answered as he thought about her question. "Well, some breakfast would actually be lovely." he admitted.

Gemini nodded."Alright then.Let's go get breakfast.I'll make french toast and bacon.Sound good?" She asked,her stomach grumbling a little bit.

Ethan smiled and nodded. "That sounds lovely." he answered and crawled out of bed. Carefully, he helped her out of bed and walked with her to the kitchen. "French toast, haven't had that in a while." he commented to himself.

Gemini allowed Ethan to help her out of bed.She walked to the kitchen with him and smiled at the idea that it was completely official now-this was her home."I'll make it the best ever,just for you." She said happily.

Ethan chuckled and kissed her softly. "Everything you do is the best Gemini. You don't even have to try." he answered and let her cook in peace. Looking over at Skylar, the little dragon was staring out the window peacefully as it let out a little yawn. "You still sleepy huh Skylar, you're lazy." he joked and pet the little dragon gently.

Gemini smiled and went to the kitchen,humming as she prepared breakfast."Should I make extra bacon for Skylar?" She asked.She really wanted Skylar to like her as much as she liked him.It was important that her new husband's best friend be happy with her.

Ethan continued petting Skylar and looked over at Gemini when she spoke. "Oh, well that would be nice actually love, Skylar will very much appreciate it." he answered and smiled as he watched her cook. Ethan noticed that Gemini looked really happy, and that made him happy since it showed that she was very happy being his wife.

Gemini nodded."All right then.Extra bacon for Skylar." She said,a light smile crossing her lips.She spent several minutes quietly going about her business,with only the sound of the frying bacon to fill the silence.She added cinnamon to the french toast as she went,and crisped the extra bacon for Skylar.It wasn't long before she was plating the food and getting out some milk and orange juice."Breakfast is ready!" She called.
