I haven't got the patience for cross-stitch. My mum used to do it all the time, but it hurt her back/eyes so she's quit. D: I still have the first thing she cross-stitched in a frame in my room though lol.

i just don't talk where i'm not wanted

Find a small pillow form.
Use that as a guide.
Cut one piece of material a tad bit bigger (to make room for the seam allowance).

Then cut two more pieces for the back...so they overlap a couple of inches.

Go look at a pillow sham in a store. You can easily do it like that.

Maybe it's the way people talk to them.
I'm nice enough.
But I'm also shy.

no. but its easy. you first do the cross stitching part right. and then you take some fabric you want to make the rest of the pillow with and you cut it to be just a bit bigger then the size of your cross stitching. then you sew most the way around, fill the pillow... outside faces facing in, then turn it inside out... so the outside is now out, fill it with stuffing, and then sew the last little bit and presto! you have a pillow!

another way to do it is to sew a pillow and then sew your cross stitching on one side.... or buy a pillow... lol.. or hot glue it on... lol... with some trim it would look good. i might do that actually... save some time...

What is a pillow form? and why do you need two pieces for the back?
