"Oh I'm not a real monster!" She quickly tried to reassure the boy. The wind picked up whipping around them, tugging at anything not nailed down. the snow fall became heavier, and the clouds darker. She heard a shouts nearby to get inside. Getting inside seemed like a good thing to her. She didn't want to be out in this crazy weather, at least not without warmer clothes.
"How about we go inside with the others? It'll be less scary and more fun. This storm may last a while.....Maybe we should go to the kitchens.... That way if we get trapped in at least we'll have food." She winked at the boy hoping to get a response, and as she always hoped, a smile. |
Little Yukito removed the blanket, and looked up, with those large, round eyes, teary as they were. However, they weren't continuing to fall, so evidently he had stopped crying.
"O-Okay..." He said, quietly and shyly. "..." There was a small pause, before he looked back up at her. "W-Will you potect me, fwom the bad boys?" ((I'm thinking on whether or not Yukito should speak childish English, including the "W" for "R" and "L", but if people don't think that works, I'll make it stop.)) |
Hiraku was just getting ready to lob a perfectly formed snowball at the back of one of the camp helpers when the wind picked up causing Hiraku to drop the snowball. It was at this point that his previous target yelled for everyone to get inside. Hiraku, although he is not normally one to miss an adventure, decided that going inside was probably a good idea and, seeing as he was one of the oldest people in the camp, he stared to help some of the counselors herd the smaller children towards the kitchens.
|
Suzu caught a few more snowflakes in her mouth until an icy wind blew against her, making her shiver. "Oh man, its cold..." She mumbled. She noticed kids coming back in and her friend Momoko leading them inside. 'Time for me to get in.' She thought as she started running for the door. A strange burst of light from the sky made her stop to look up. There were five pinpoints of light in the sky that began to fall down. One of them came straight at her.
"What is th-?" Suzu couldn't finish when the ball of light hit her square in the forehead. She yelped and fell into the snowy ground and groaned. (I dunno if I was allowed to do this, but I really, really, really wanted Suzu to get hit by something) |
"Of course I will. but there not really bad, they just haven't learned better yet." She smiled and reached for his hand. They needed to get going it was getting stormy out here. A flash in the sky made her look up. she walked forward out of the roof of the porch to get a better view. ((If the boy grabs her hand, she pulls him along, otherwise she steps out by herself.))
"What is that? A shooting star?" the lights grew brighter too fast. The sped toward the earth at the campsite. It was too fast for the mind to comprehend the danger. She stood, the only thing she had time for was to make sure she was in front of the boy somehow, on order to shield him. |
((^^ lol, you were welcome to, Kuro XD this rp is being too slow, and I'm not sure how to speed it up, it just seems I'm on when you guys aren't T.T))
Momoko had seen Hiraku from before about to lob a snowball at one of her friends, so she had come back and decided she would shirk her duties (since the kids she was taking care of were already inside and safe) and seek out justice. She smiled at Suzu before she started to mock throw a snowball at Hiraku. Unfortunately, one of the beams of light flew towards her specifically. She let out a squeak as one landed beside her, and the other flew past her head. In her shock she threw the snowball hard at the back of his head. She turned and stared at the once glowing, now strange octagonal device in front of her before she saw if it hit or not. "Oh wow!" It was white, and octagonal, and seemed to have a screen on it. Like a really really tiny TV, or those tomogachis she'd loved so much in her youth. She recalled that one of the odd tomogachi meteors had hit her friend and looked back to see her friend on the ground. "S-suzu!!" she cried, running toward her friend and kneeling beside her. "Are you alright?!" |
Hiraku was finishing up directing some of the kids to the buildings when he suddenly heard someone squeak which was immediately followed by the sensation of being hit with something cold and wet. realizing that someone threw a snowball at the back of his head, Hiraku turned around to see who the guilty party culprit was. But, instead of of finding the culprit, he found something much more interesting. A weird ball of light was flying towards him. Now, instead of doing the intelligent thing and moving out of the way, Hiraku stuck out his hand and caught it.
Shaking his hand from the intense pain it caused him to catch the ball, Hiraku examined the ball. After he caught it the light surrounding the ball faded, reviling it to be a mechanical device of some sort with a digital screen. Looking at the 'digivice', as he decided to call it, Hiraku could only think one thing. "This is going to lead to the adventure of a life time!" |
Meanwhile, one of these speeding lights had come for little Yukito, too. This had managed to fall into his bag, without him seeing it. Yuki waddled over to the rucksack, and picked it up, holding it close to his chest, along with the blanket. It was then he waddled back over to Akiko, and held her hand. It was a small, somewhat cold (mostly from the snow and cold outside), yet also with a hint of warmness. It was also small enough to fit in Akiko's, probably twice over.
It was then that the other light came down, towards Yukito and Akiko. As Akiko stood in the way, Yukito whimpered and kept behind her legs at all time, for protection. He at least knew that this girl was nice enough to try and keep him safe, so he felt somewhat better to hide behind her, even if he knew it wasn't the right thing to do, either. Bless him, he felt it was him being bad, to want to be protected. |
The lights managed not to strike them down, but one landed near her feet instead. "nani/what?" She felt the boys hand fit into hers and looked at the boy. "that was close huh?" She chuckled nervously and squeezed the boys hand gently. She then reached down to look closer at the object. It was some small tech device. Like a weird gameboy or perhaps a mp4 player since it had a screen. She picked it up deciding it wasn't going to hurt her hand...at least she hoped.
"Look at this." She held it out for both her and the boy to look at. "Thats gotta be some super sale if there flying in products like that." She smiled trying an attempt to joke about the weird situation. |
"I'm okay..." Suzu said in a dazed voice as she sat up. She shook her head to get the snow out of her hair and looked around. Sitting beside her was, what she guessed, the thing that hit her. A small, 8-sided, shiny device with a little screen in the middle. "It's so cute!!" She exclaimed as she grabbed it out of the snow.
|
"Cute....?" Momoko repeated, staring at the device. Suddenly it began to glow and little bar lines appeared on it.
"What the...?" The aurora that was in the sky from the snow storm grew ever larger, like it was enveloping the sky, and before any of them realized it, the only people who were still outside were the people with the fallen devices from the sky. If it were possible for an aurora to bend down and crash upon them like a tidal wave, then that's what happened, at least what she saw. She was swirling and breathless in a whirl of colors. She couldn't think, she couldn't breathe, all she could do was scream. And then everything went black. When she finally opened her eyes again she saw grass and bright, colorful foliage all around. Something was curled up on her stomach and snoring loudly. Wait, what? Something..? But thanks to all the days at camp running around with kids and hardly getting sleep, fatigue hit her eye lids and forced them back down. She fell back asleep, taking solace in the comfortable grass. ((And thus we're in the digital world!~ Woo-hoo!)) |
Hiraku stared at the aurora in wonder and shock, he was both too excited and too scared to move when it surrounded him causing him to black out.
When Hiraku finally came to he realized several things. One, there was no longer any snow anywhere. Two, he was still incredibly hungry. And three, a warm fuzzy ball was jumping up and down on his chest. Quickly sitting up, Hiraku scooted away from the ball as fast as he could backing right into a tree. "W-what are you," he asked to fuzzy thing. Which, now that he got a good look at it, looked like a the head of a cat with a raccoon tail attached and blue and white fur, as well as an 'M' shaped mark on his forehead in dark blue. It was bouncing around, seemingly unable to keep still, with a grin wider then it's face could handle. "I'm Wanyamon, Hiraku," the cat-raccoon-thing replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I'm your partner!" "Ok, I must have been dreaming about the snow," Hiraku said as he stood up and brushed himself off. "And this is obviously a hunger induced hallucination. So I'm going to go find camp and get some food now." With that said he started to walk in the direction he thought camp was in. "Ok, I'm coming too." The cute ball of fluff said as he hoped after Hiraku. |
((Sorry I haven't been on in awhile, but now it's time to roleplay.))
Kanan woke up in a grassy field with a strange device in his hand. "Where am I? The last thing I remember was a strange light and a tidal wave, camp sure is weird. How did I get here and where did the other people go?" Kanan said. Kanan was then suddenly tackled by what seemed to be a purple furry dinosaur with bat-wings. "Whoa! What are you?!" Kanan said in a surprised tone. "I'm a digimon, short for digital monster. My name is Dorumon!" Dorumon said in a happy tone. "I'm your digital companion, or more like....your partner!" Dorumon gave Kanan a hug. "Uhm, not to be rude or anything Dorumon, was it? But, can you get off me? You're kind of heavy." Kanan said. Dorumon got off of Kanan, "Sorry, I'm just really excited. Because I have a partner." Dorumon said. "I got it, say Dorumon, what is this place?" Kanan asked. "This is the digital world, that's all I can tell you sorry." Dorumon said. "I think more humans are here, I can smell them. Let's go find them, they might be partners to other digimon." "Sure, I'd like to see if the others are safe and sound." Kanan said. |
Suzu didn't know what hit her when she was suddenly surrounded in a colorful aura. She remembered fainting after that. She was awaken to the sound of angry muttering. Suzu opened her eyes and looked up to see a floating little snake/dragon thing with pointy eyes. Those pointy eyes turned towards her and glared.
"Took you long enough." He said. Suzu blinked and sat up. "Who are you? And what are you?" She asked. "I"m Kyokyomon." He replied, "I'm a Digimon, or Digital Monster. I can't believe you didn't know that." "I'm sorry!" She exclaimed as she stood up. That's when she noticed how strange her surroundings were. She definately wasn't at camp anymore... "Hey you! Stop dazing off!" Kyokyomon yelled. Suzu snapped out of it and turned to the Digimon. "I'm not 'you', I'm Suzu." "I know. I don't care. I'm not accepting you as my partner." Suzu blinked confusingly. The digimon sighed. "You're supposed to be my human partner." "Cool! We're partners!" "No! I won't accept you as my partner!" "Aw..." Suddenly, there was a loud crash. The two spun around, but they didn't see anything. Kyokyomon slanted his eyes and turned back to Suzu. "C'mon, let's find the others." He commanded as he started floating away. Suzu just skipped after the strange creature. |
Little Yukito had been separated somewhat from Akiko, in the... Well, whatever had just happened. And as a result, we had one little lost bunny on our hands. With a whimper, Yukito was up and about, wondering where he was and not liking it for a second. Where was the nice lady who had been protecting him so far?
And then, he started to hear noises. Little squeaks, and crackles, and chirrups, and other assorted animalistic, insectoid or otherwise noises. All this followed by a loud screeching roar, and Yukito was left more scared than before. On the roar, he was on his feet completely, and running away, crying for help. ((Hee-hee. Yukito will probably end up running out in front of someone or other, so if anyone wants to find him running out of the trees or something, that'll be fine.)) |
Dorumon caught the scent of a digimon nearby but couldn't tell who it was. "I smell digimon nearby, maybe a human is nearby as well." Dorumon said. "We should be careful of bad digimon, they'll hurt us without mercy." Dorumon proclaimed.
"What?! Why didn't you tell me earlier? Nevermind, that kind of thing must always be apparent when dealing with survival I suppose. We'll just be wary of our surroundings and we'll be fine. I hope the others don't run into the bad digimon you speak of, otherwise we'll be in danger." Kanan said. "This place is truly strange, but I suppose it's not so bad I guess." |
Momoko heard someone criyng for help. It was either a girl or....a really young child? She sat up and yawned, stretching her arms above her head.
Whatever was on her stomach rolled down onto her lap. Pokomon yawned and nuzzled into her lap comfortably. He could only be described as a tan, furry head with a lion mane. The poor little digimon had wasted a bunch of energy trying to wake her up, and ended up falling asleep himself. And so he was happily sleeping in her lap. Momoko didn't even know how to react, her face was blue with fear, but the more she watched the....things sleeping face, the more she began to adore it. Another cry for help caused her to snap out of her adoring faze and look toward the trees. "H-HELLO!? Are you alright?!" she called, she didn't want to disturb the creature in her lap, but the fact that it was a child pulled at her heart strings. "Come over here!" She pulled the digimon into her arms before getting up and wandering through the forest. The digimon in her arms merely kept on sleeping, with a groan of 'Five more minutes' at her screaming and movement. |
At this point little Yukito appeared out of the area he had been lost, right out into the area Momoko was resting. With a whimper of fright, he ran towards her for protection. At this point, he tripped up, onto his face. A new set of whimpers came, this time of pain, rather than fright.
|
"Oh! Poor little guy." She kneeled beside him and placed the creature in her arms onto a bed of leaves before gently helping the little boy up.
She recognized him. He was known by all the camp counselors because he was the youngest child there, not to mention super adorable. "Yukito? It's alright sweety, my name is Momoko, and I'm one of the camp helpers. Do you have any distinct pain anywhere?" She was checking for bruises or scrapes from his fall. The poor little guy, it was no wonder he was a nervous wreck. She didn't notice before, but they were in an area she wasn't familiar with at all! |
Lost in the colors, Akiko became dizzy.... "Ooo shiny...." Soon she blacked out and lay peacefully until she became too hot. "Warm," she mumbled, cracking an eye open she saw the warm glow of fire. "fire, huh...FIRE!" Her stomach was on fire! She jumped up and the flames rolled off her. She patted her shirt, frantically. Slowly she realized that her, nor her shirt was burnt. "What?!" Peering closely, the little fireball was not spreading or going out. She peered closer and noticed there were eyes and a mouth in the flames. It opened its eyes and stuck her tongue out at her.
"Ow, that hurt sleepy! I'm glad your up now, cause now I can meet you and we'll be friends, and we'll help digimon and we can explore and talk and hang out and we can climb and share secrets and play all day and then I'll keep you warm when you sleep, and we can go fishing, except I don't like fish, do you like fish? we could find some plants instead or maybe something else, I don't like water do you like water? I hate it when others splash me, they tease me like that sometimes, I mean this one time when...." "Wow...WOW, Wait a minute. Just hold on." She tried to calm the little thing down. It was jumping up higher and higher with each sentence getting obviously way too hyper. "Who are you and where Is this?" "Oh I'm soooo sorry, please forgive me, I didn't mean to be rude I should have introduced myself to you, now you'll think I'm impolite and that's not very good for a first impression, I wanted to leave a good impression since your my new partner and everything and since were together and all..." "Wait what? Partner?" "Yep! I'm Pyramon! And were partners." the little fireball blushed and smiled happily. She couldn't help but think how cute it was. It was then that she heard perhaps voices distantly. "Are others here?" she asked the fireball. "I think so , do you want to go find them?" "Yes please, there might be others from the camp...Wait! The little boy! He was with me untill that bright light. We should find him, he'll be terrified." She raced off toward the sound the fireball floating behind her. |
As Hiraku searched for camp he began to hear voice talking, something about 'bad digimon' whatever those were and danger. Thinking that he was getting closer to the camp he rush forward.
When he made it to where the voices were he was surprised by two things. One, that he still did not seem to be anywhere near camp. And two, one of the voices came from a dinosaur like creature with a tail that resembled that of a dog's. Looking at the human that was talking to the fuzzy dino, Hiraku noticed that he was one of the only other kids his age at the camp, Kanan something. "Hey, Kanan right," Hiraku asked not sure of his name. "It looks like you have a hunger-induced hallucination too." "We're not hallucinations, Hiraku, we're digimon, digital monsters," Wanyamon said as he hopped up over to Kanan. "Hi, I'm Wanyamon. I'm Hiraku's partner." "I won't be convinced of that unless your still here when I get some food," Hiraku said as he picked Wanyamon up. "And don't randomly introduce yourself to people, it's not safe, even if you aren't real. Anyway Kanan, do you happen to know the way back to camp?" |
"Hmm....? Oh, it's you Hiraku I believe is your name, right? You're not hallucinating, trust me otherwise this little guy wouldn't even feel real." Kanan said as he rubbed Dorumon's head. "Anyways, I don't get hunger-induced hallucinations. So anyways, I guess that that little guy beside you is your digital partner. I don't know exactly why we have been brought here but, I think it's much more fun this way I suppose, it beats being bothered by the adults at camp. Anyways if you want to go back to camp, you'll never go back I'm not even sure myself where it is." Kanan proclaimed.
"Hi Wanyamon, I'm Kanan's partner, Dorumon. We should keep moving on forward before the bad digimon appear. We must find the other humans and their partners before the bad digimon come after us." Dorumon said. "The wretched digidestined are in the digital world, I abhor those pathetic humans. I do hope Devimon takes great care in annihilating them. If he fails to exterminate the humans and their little pets. I'll just tear out his digital core and devour it." GranDracmon said as he peer over a large crystal which was watching everything in the digital world. |
((Silver-san, Fyramon is just so charming!))
Yukito sniffled and looked up into Momoko's eyes, his own being still very much teary. There were no visible signs of pain on him, it was mainly just the surprise and slight jolt from having fallen over that had hurt. Shaking his head at the question Momoko had asked, Yukito now started to whimper. Now, he hid his face in her chest and started to cry again, because... Well, because really, he needed a good cry now, and surely he couldn't begrudged that, at his age. ((Heh-heh, next post or so, after Yukito's calmed down a little, Calumon will make his arrival.)) |
((thanks! She is isn't she?))
"Hellooooooooo?" Akiko called. "Anyone out there?" She walked carefully thorough the brush, pulling aside alrger ferns, and branches. Pyramon floated up and down right behind her avoiding the plants. She too called out. "HellllOOOOOooooLLLlLLLOOOOOOOLLLLlllllOOOOOO! Where are you? Can you come out or call or something so we can call you and then we can all get together and be friends and then maybe we could have a party and it will be so much fun and everyone will be happy and we don't have to eat fish, and there wont be any water and then we can grow a big bon fire cause I can light it and then no one will be afraid and....." |
Momo held him close and let the poor child cry, rubbing his back gently and giving little 'Hush'es and comforting noises to him.
"Everything is going to be fine." But was everything really fine? Not really. They were stuck in the middle of nowhere, goodness knows how far away from camp... But she would smile and give comfort to the poor little guy, she was obligated...no, she really wanted to. She would protect him. Momoko winced when she heard a particularly loud yell not too far away, something about...parties? What? "Awesome!!" It seemed that the creature had awakened, and was now ready to party! "But I like fish!! We should have that and MEAT APPLES!" he yelled towards the hyperactively loud voice, bouncing up and down. |
