Squealing, Echora followed him quickly. She'd only been kidding. Or well, she hadn't expected him to say yes rather. Echo walked inside, gazing in awe at the spectacular scene on the inside. Stumbling over her own feet again, Echo snapped out of her daze and dashed forward, towards Aiden. She clung to his arm quietly and looked at the boy at the counter. He seemed so displeased to be working but it's not as though it could've been that bad. It was a beautiful hotel and at least a few people that came in had curtosy to treat him nicely. Echora gave him a small smile and he gave a one sided grin that made her skin crawl. That's right, this was a bigger city with more scumbags than rats in a sewer.

She clung closer to Aiden and rested her hand on top of his, avoiding the counter boy's gaze. However the gazes around the lobby in full weren't very reassuring. Once the boy slipped the key onto the cool marble tops, Echo grasped it and leaned up to Aiden's ear. "Um I'm uh...Going to go." She nodded and pulled away, walking hastily towards the elevators, trying to avoid any sort of unwanted gaze that came her way.

With a quick thanks to the boy at the counter, Aiden took back his ccredit card and followed Echo to the elevator doors, arriving just as one dinged open. The doors slid apart, allowing Aiden and Echo to enter into the small area. As the metal doors slid shut, Aiden reached out a hand and punched the button that had a golden four printed neatly above it. Once they began to rise, Aiden took Echo's hand and smiled at her. "Are you ready for a good nights' sleep?" He asked her, anxious to curl up beneath the covers himself. So long as no emergancies presented themselves, maybe Aiden would allow both of them to sleep in once the morning arrived.

There was yet another ding and the elevator came to a gentle stop, the doors sliding open once more. Aiden stepped out and looked at the key card. "We're in room 421." He informed Echo. "The swimming pool's open until ten tonight, if you'd rather do that instead of going to bed right away." This second option didn't seem quite as appealing, however he did remember that Echo had bought herself a swimsuit along with the rest of her cloths, and the motels and hotels that they would be staying at in the future probably would not have swimming pools.

Quietly, Echo yawned and stretched a bit. "Well that is tempting yet I'm pretty tired....What would you rather do Aiden? It's your choice because you've been so nice to me." She decided rather quickly and lightly gripped onto his hand. "Either way we have to drop our stuff off." She shrugged and skipped along to their presented room, unlocking and quickly opening the door, squealing just at the tiny sight she could see. It was so elaborate and....fancy. Echo sort of felt like Cinderella in the midst of it all and she looked back at Aiden, holding open the door and bouncing on her toes.

Aiden was smiling while he walked through the door, making for the desk so that he could set the bags of Echora's purchases ontop of it's smooth surface. beneath the desk was a mini fridge and a micrwave and, of course, a coffee maker. They were wel equipped in the way of food. And drink, Aiden realized as he opened the refridgerator door. Inside were a multitude of drinks, including about a dozen mini cans of coke and a dozen of pepsi. There were also small bottles of orange fanta, Sprite, A&W, and several cartons of white milk and chocolate milk. There were also two pre-made, packaged egg sald sandwhiches and two ham and cheese ones as well. "They forgot peanut-butter and jelly." Aiden laughed softly, standing up and closing the fridge door. He crossed to the bed, which was quite a distance from the desk given that htis was a hotel room.

After flopping backwards and the red covers and memory foam mattress, Aiden said, "If we want to go swimming, we should go tonight. Remember, I can't do anything fancy after this. I can't garuntee you'll have the opportunity to wear that pretty swim suite you picked out after tonight." He said with a smile. There was a remote close to Aiden's head. He reached up and took a hold of it, then clicked on the flatscreen telivision that hung above the desk. All the channels were in Spanish... of course. Why wouldn't they be? A flawless telivision screen with great picture, heaven forbid the channels should be in English. Eh, who needed tv anyhow? Aiden turned it off and redirected the remote to another wall. A small gas fireplace came to life with a flickering orange flame. How quaint. There was a balcony door on the wall to his left, however he didn't have much interest in letting the smog from the city seep into their lovely little room.

As for herself, Echora was also ransacking neatly through their room. "It's BEAUTIFUL." Echo shouted from the bathroom, barely having heard Aiden's words. She came out of the bathroom, admiring the same things as her guardian had. She grabbed the bags that contained her clothes and she started to shuffle through them, humming a soft tune to herself. She pulled out the bikini she'd bought and grinned, still humming away to herself. "I'm going to change now." She announced and yawned softly, walking to the huge bathroom that was merely covered with walls of heavily frosted glass.

Within the seperation of the frosted glass, there was Echora's sillhouette showing gently and affectionately as she stripped to her bare essentials and slowly tried to fit the bikini to her body. She hummed a much softer tune, mysterious and beautiful in sound. Finally, Echo stepped out and did a small twirl, a towel in one of her hands. "Let's go swimming Aiden." She suggested quietly and started to turn away from him, hips moving suggestively on their own. She continued to hum that same beautiful melody as she walked down the empty holtel hallways, catching some guests' interests and making them open their doors and stare at her as she walked. Eventually, Echo felt enough of other's eyes that she wrapped her towel around her slender frame and continued on her merry way.

Aiden's orange/brown eyes discovered that frosted glass did something magical, really. He watched, inchanted, as a skin-colored tint danced behind the surface of the glass. As she was changing, Aiden stood and unbuttoned his jeans. They fell to the floor to reveal black and silver swim trunks. Once she came out, he had to fight the involuntary motion of his mouth dropping open. He half won, managing to keep the jaw from unhinging more than a few mere centimeters. Why this was happening, he wasn't sure. He'd already seen her in the swim suite. Maybe it was the night magic provoking his senses? Not to mention the fact that her walking away from him had the boy nearly on his knees, begging her to stay.

After stumbling slightly, Aiden jogged forward and caught up with her, grabbing a towell off a nearby rack, and the key card off of a nearby night stand. He shut the door behind them and walked down the hall, staying protectively close to Echo. As guys began to open their doors, Aiden could feel his cheeks heat up. Finally, just as Echo had wrapped her towell around her body, the angel lost himself. He jerked forward and slammed his shoulder into the open door of a sleezy-looking peeping tom. The guy cursed softly and retreated back into his room. Shortly after, Aiden and Echo reached the elevator. Once they were inside, Aiden wrapped his arm around Echo's waist.

"I'm sorry about that," He told her. His eyes remained downcast as the elevator slowed to a stop. It dinged and the doors slid open. Aiden held out his arms in a 'ladies first' gesture.

Echo jumped, half expecting the man from the room to throw a punch towards Aiden in anger. However, when he silently retreated, Echo smiled. She slinked into the elevator quietly and jumped high in surprise when she felt a pair of arms slink around her thin frame. Echo held back a smile and leaned into him and rested her hands on his arms. "Don't apologize." She quietly insisted as the elevator started to go up. Echora closed her eyes and shook her head. He had no reason to apologize in the first place. She was thankful he'd stopped the group of pestering eyes.

When the elevator dinged and announced they were arriving, Echo felt the warm arms of her guardian leave her. As she fought a frown, Echo forced a smile and stepped off the elevator, waiting for Aiden. She lightly gripped his hand and pulled him off, walking towards the door that lead to the pool. She opened the door and inhaled deeply, taking in the nice scent. Chlorinated yes, but it still smelt refreshing.

As empty as the pool was, the tiled room still seemed painfully loud. Watery reflections danced on the ceiling and walls. It was pretty, yet it had a sense of intense cleanlyness, almost like taking a sip of cold water when one has a lump of mint gum in their mouth. Aiden scrunched his nose up in distaste, but he couldn't let Echora see. So he slapped on a smile on his pale-skinned face and, after looking at Echo, started a quick walk towards the high diving board. It was a straight shot and Aiden was there in moments. The metal was cold beneath his hands as Aiden scaled the ladder. Once he reached the top, he took a deep breath and stretched his arms high above his head.

"I'll meet you down there," called Aiden softly, his voice ringing gently off the walls. In one fluid motion, he took off from the board and flawlessly dove into the blankets of water below. When his head came up, he slicked his black hair back and smiled an angelic smile aimed towards Echo. "The water's great."
