Mike hadn't been sitting there too long before he heard a wierd noise coming from outside. Sighing he stood up and slid his cowboy boots on. He strode outside and blinked, raising an eyebrow. There, just a couple of houses down was Ace looking into her cars hood, wearing a tank top and shorts. She looked good. Really good... Shaking his head to get that thought from his head he walked over. "Car trouble?" He asked, just messing with her. He looked into the hood from the side. "What's wrong with it?" He asked, knowing she knew more about cars than he did. It'd been one of their small things. They used to play around to see who knew more about cars. Like a small little contest they had with eachother. Not a big one, or one they really cared about, but a cute little thing they did together. He missed those days. A lot...

Michelle knew he had a thing about his hair. But he never seemed to be mad when she messed with it, and she barely did anyways. She laughed lightly when he asked about the peas. "That was what was in the kit, so I dunno what happened." She told him truthfully, sitting on his lap. She didn't weigh much, an advantage of being small, and held the bag to his eye. She felt so bad about his eye. But she knew that if she said anything it'd start a whole thing. So she let it go, a bit. She decided to ask about the city. "How was the city?.... Any girls?" She asked, just curious. The last part was more for a personal knowledge than just curiousity. But knowing Mason like she did, she figured that he had a girlfriend or three. Girls tended to like Mason.

Aysel jumped as she heard Mike's voice; she had been so absorbed in her engine problem she didn't hear his footsteps as he approached her. Her head lightly banged the upraised hood and she emitted a soft ouch, frowning. She pulled out of the hood, unknowingly to her a bit of oil was smuded on her left cheek. Though it looked more cute than anything. She turned to see Mike and let a sly smile play across her face as he asked about the car. "Yeah... Can't figure out what it is," she said and ran a slender hand through her straight, long hair, leaning slightly on her left foot. She remembered when they would see who knew more about cars, always in a playful manner, and when they would fix a car together. "I think it's a bad fuel mix. Probably low on gas, so instead the car is getting air and not fuel. But it could be a bad fuel mix because the air intake might be clogged," she said, eyeing the hood. Her light blue eyes glanced over Mike quickly. He still looked really great, his body toned from country work. The girl sighed as her liight pinks lips curved downward to form a frown.

Mason laughed at Meena's explanation for the bag of peas. His baby blue eyes lit up at Selena's suggestion. "That would be great," he exclaimed. He'd always loved parties, and having a country party in an empty field filled with trucks blasting music and kegs in pick ups was unlike any other. He never got overly drunk, his sister made sure of it, but they both knew how to drink and have fun without doing anything stupid. He smiled as Michelle sat in his lap, wrapping his arms around her. If anyone asked he would say it was because he didn't want her to fall, but really he did it because he wanted to. "There were some cute girls," he teased. "But nothing really serious. A little flirting, no real relationships. Most of the girls were fake," he added, shrugging his broad shoulders. "And you, little lady, any boys I should know about?" He asked Michelle jokingly. He looked at Selena. She had changed, and she honestly looked pretty good. Though deep in his heart he knew he'd always only had eyes for Michelle. "I bet Selena was breaking some hearts," he teased and laughed, eyes twinkling.

DarkAngel562415 09-11-2010 12:20 AM

Selena laughs slightly running her fingers threw her hair "Yea I broke a couple" She says looking at Mason. She was thinking about the list of things that she needed to get in her head "You guys can invited everyone you know. Im going to show you how I threw a party New York style" She says smiling her hazel green eyes sparkling when she said that "Do you guys want anything special at the party? Im making a list so I dont forget"

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-12-2010 08:22 PM

Mike couldn't help but smile and grimace when Ace hit her head and then looked at him. He hadn't meant to surprise her. If he had, that meant she'd been pretty intent on the car and he'd bothered her. He shrugged it off, his eye catching the oil stain on her cheek. Instinctively, like old times, he leaned over and wiped it off. Grimacing at what he'd done he wiped the oil on his jeans, leaving a stain only a country grandmother know how to take out. Good thing he had one, right? Smirking at her suggestions on what might've happened to it, he moved over to the front and leaned in. He looked into the hood and began to mess around with the oils. He didn't say a word, just did what he knew would fix it. While she'd left he'd gone to work at the only mechanics place there was here. He probably knew more than she did now. When he finished he put the hood down. "Try it now." He said simply, stepping aside. He was absolutely sure that he had fixed it. If he hadn't, he'd walk away and call his friend at the mechanic store.

Melissa grinned. A party seemed like fun. But knowing Selena, Mason, and Ace. There'd be booze. And Melissa with booze was like a flower with rain. Not the greedy part. But a few sips and she was buzzed. Half a small cup and she was drunk. Normally she liked to stay away from it because then she'd become inproper, plus she wasn't legal age yet. But neither was anyone else, and if someone offered as a lady she accepted. She felt Mason's strong arms wrap around her, and she listened to him answer her question. It dissapointed her a little, but she was glad that there'd been no real relationships. Not that she'd ever tell. She laughed lightly when he asked and rolled her eyes. "You know no one sees me like that. I'm like everybody's sister here. No one dares look at another persons sister." She told him. There was a little truth at that. She honestly didn't think anyone looked at her as more than just another country girl. She looked back over at Selena and smiled, shaking her head. "Nope. Nothing for me thank you."

musikfreakx 09-12-2010 08:44 PM

Aysel's heart did cartwheels as Mike leaned over and wiped the oil off of her cheek. Her cheeks lit up a rosy red, even though she tried to fight as best she could. She didn't want to have these feelings about him still, but obviously her heart didn't agree with that. She bit her lip so hard she began to bleed, but her eyes stayed rooted to the ground as her cheeks continued to glow a light pink. Glancing up, she watched as Mike leaned over into her hood. She stood, an eyebrow raised at him. If it had been anyone else messing with her hood, including her brother, she would've immediately yelled at them. No one touched her car. Especially the engine and body. But it was Mike... and she got a great view of his butt. She mentally smacked herself and pushed away those thoughts, her cheeks once again lighting up. She couldn't help this consistent blushing, but she tried her best to fend it.
As he pulled out of the hood and told her to go try it, a slightly disbelieving, coy smile came across her face. She shrugged and hopped back into the car, throwing her over shirt to the side since it had been in her seat. She turned the keys in the ignition and tested the engine, keeping the car in park as she revved it. She scoffed in surprise as she noticed the clanking no longer existed. She laughed, the light harmony of it flowing out of the open window. She'd always had a contagious, pretty laugh. Hopping back out of the car, after taking the keys out of course, Aysel smiled at Mike. She felt as if she was drifting back to old times. "Wow... I can't believe you just fixed my car. Um, thanks," she exclaimed, her pretty pink lips curving up into a light smile. She was still a bit shocked she had let him, especially with the way he had been earlier.

"Hm... Great music and booze is all I ask," he said and laughed. Mason wasn't an alcoholic though, that was for sure. But partying was a favorite thing of his, and alcohol just made it better, so long as he didn't get too drunk and stupid. He turned his head back to Michelle, an eyebrow raised speculatively. "Yeah, well Mike was looking at you. But I'm certain there is at least one other guy that looks at you in a different way than as a sister," he replied, rolling his eyes back at her a bit exaggeratedly to make her laugh. He knew he was just talking about himself in the last comment, but did he dare to admit it? No. Well, at least not yet. He loved their relationship, but he wasn't sure if taking it to the next level would destroy them in the end. He knew he wouldn't be able to live with that or lose her. Mason's mind churned for a few seconds, processing that thought. He weighed out his options, but he was stuck with the same decision he had started out with: wait and see, at least for now.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-12-2010 09:07 PM

Hearing Ace's laugh made Mike laugh. He laughed her laugh. And hated it. He nodded when she thanked him. "It's not that hard to believe...." He muttered. There was some hurt in his eyes, but it definitely wasn't because of what she'd said. It was from her leaving. No matter how many times he'd tried to tell himself that it wasn't her fault, if she had really wanted to stay, she would've found a way. Ace always found a way. It'd been a quality he liked. He looked down, and shoved his hands in his pockets, and kicked the dirt. "So...... How was the city?...." He asked, not really wanting to go back and be alone. Or leave Ace. He'd missed her so much. But it was her fault. She'd left. Had hurt him. Just like his mother. One might say he had abandonment issues, but did it matter? He was who he was. He had done what he had done. There was no going back. There was never forgetting what you'd did in the country. Everyone knew what you did. Everyone. There was no hiding anything in the country. It was inevitable. It was like trying to hide a cow in a flat field. It just couldn't be done. However, he wasn't sure if he was willing to try and forget that Ace had left him. Just up and left without more than a day or two's notice. Could you really blame him? If you knew his past?

Michelle smirked. Like she had thought, Mason asked for booze. Could it be helped? No. She laughed lightly once again, but only because Mason's eye roll was so ridiculous. The sound of construction lay in the background to their conversation and her thoughts. Calming down a bit she shook her head and patted his chest, making sure it made a small thud with each patt. "Well. When ya' find him. Call me." She winked and then moved out of his arms. She pulled down her shorts a little. "I'll be a minute. Gotta go to the little ladies room." With that she rushed off to the bathroom. She really had to go. It took her about two minutes, and then she came back out, wiping her wet hands on her shorts legs. She wondered what they would do now. Perhaps she could take off from the restaurant. Just then her father came in and she did a mental dance. She could leave now. There was no use staying. He went straight over to the construction people nodding to Mason with a giant smile, a charming smile and nod to Selena, and he made a small detour to hug and kiss Michelle. He told her she could leave before going to the construction leader. Michelle made her way over to Mason and Selena with a small skip in her step.

DarkAngel562415 09-12-2010 09:43 PM

Selena pulls out her phone and starts making a list of the things that she needed to get for the party "Ok then the list is ready, so who wants to help me shop for all of this" She says showing Mason and Michelle the list and it was almost 2 pages long "I know im pretty stong for a girl but I dont think I can carry all of this to my car" She says giggling softly. Noticing Michelle's dad walk in, she ways back at him "Wow Michelle, is it just me or does your dad look alittle different?"

musikfreakx 09-12-2010 10:10 PM

Aysel's smile faded a bit. She could feel an overwhelming sadness engulf. It was like the lyrics from Never Shout Never's song Losing It: "My heart was racing, my mind was screaming." She missed everything. The country, Michelle, and especially Mike. On the inside she blamed herself for how he had become. She was the only person who really knew the whole story about his past and mom. And then she had left him too. She had cried for days when she had found out the news about her family having to move back to the city. When Michelle had emailed her and explained what had happened to Mike, Aysel had hated herself for weeks. She knew she'd hurt him, but she couldn't help it. She had tried so hard to stay, but nothing worked. She didn't know if Mike would ever understand that. She leaned against the car and stared at the ground, an odd habit for her. "The city was OK I guess. Sometimes you got lost in it, and wondered really where you were," she answered truthfully. Quite a few nights she had wondered where she was, not literally but in a different sense. She was going to ask him how the country had been, but her thoughts trailed off.

"Already found him," Mason whispered to himself as Michelle skipped off to the bathroom. He cleared his throat, hoping Selena hadn't heard, and glanced at her list of items. He smiled, it didn't quite reach his eyes. But he was shocked at how long it was. "All of that?!" He exclaimed and chuckled. He glanced up and saw Michelle's father as Michelle returned from the little girl's room. He grinned back at him and tipped his hat in a respectful gesture. "I guess now you two are going to drag me along on a party shopping spree that should last an hour but really will last the whole day. And you're going to make me carry everything," he teased and chuckled. He knew it would be true, but so long as he was with Michelle it didn't matter. He was glad that Selena and he were on good terms, friendlier grounds than when they had left. He was glad he had the opportunity to get to know her better now.

DarkAngel562415 09-12-2010 10:30 PM

Selena giggles and puts her phone away "Yes all of this. If you want to threw party you have to threw it right" She says getting up from her chair. "And yes we are, isnt that right Michelle?" She says locking arms with her and walks out side to her car. Selena looks over her shoulder, giving him a look telling him that she heard him before winking at him and unlocks her car.

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-12-2010 10:54 PM

Mike just nodded lightly. She didn't ask how the country was, maybe because she already knew, but that left them at an impasse at the conversation. He didn't know what else to say without bringing up the past. Sighing, he finally did. "So. Was it fun... over there?" Apparently his mouth didn't comprehend and he said something different from what he had wanted to say. Shrugging it off, he kicked at the dirt again with his cowbow boot. He hated not knowing what to say. It used to be so easy before she left, and now that she was back it was like his hand was in his mouth stopping him from saying anything. It sucked. It sucked so much. If he hadn't changed, this would've been so different. If he hadn't taken it to heart, he would've been his old self. The one he was proud of. Not his father figure. Atleast he didn't drink every night. That would've been terrible. So, there was that to be thankful about. And he had safe sex. There was that too... So he wasn't a terrible horrible monster. Just not the greatest guy. Not that he let himself think that. To him, he was awesome. Great.

Michelle laughed, and then faked a surprised expression with a small gasp. "How'd you know?!" She cracked a smile and looked over at Selena who had locked arms with her. She nodded, though she knew she'd carry some things, she'd hate to break poor Mason. Especially since there was TWO whole pages of stuff to buy. She walked out with Selena, knowing nothing of what Mason had said. She slipped her arm from Selena's heading towards her truck. She wondered if Mason had a car, then stopped and looked over at Selena. "Where to first boss?" She asked, joking around a little. She had to know where to go, incase they lost sight of eachother. Which with Michelle's car made total sense because it was as slow as a catepillar. But she loved the car nonetheless. And now that Ace was back, she was thinking about letting Ace teach her some things and fix her car. Maybe Mason could help too... That'd be fun.

musikfreakx 09-12-2010 11:39 PM

Aysel's mouth opened to reply, but it felt like her heart was up in her throat. She coughed and looked up at him, but not meeting his eyes. "It was um..." her mouth was forming the words but she couldn't push the rest up. She took a deep breath, knowing that if she didn't she'd get worked up and most likely to start cry. Which was extremely rare for her. "It was good," she lied, knowing Mike would be able to tell that she was. "It sucked for the most part. I mean, the city life was nice but it became too much and some of the people..." she admitted before trailing off, a bitter taste in her mouth. She loved the city. But so many people had hurt her there. Pretended to be her friends to use her, and guys led her on just to leave her hanging. Of course, she had never really been whole-heartedly into it either. Every time she would be with a guy she'd remember Mike and all she would feel was guilt and sadness. "How was it here," she finally asked, even though she sort of knew the answer. Her stomach churned painfully, and her heart did the same.

Mason's eyebrows shot up as he realized that Selena had noticed. They sunk back into place in relief as she winked at him, and he held up his thumbs. "Thank you," he mouthed before getting up to follow the two girls. He laughed when Michelle had made her fake expression, and he stepped out of the store into the blistering sun that looked over the country town. "I feel like I'm in a game of follow the leader, but you da woman!" Mason said to Selena before chuckling. Spotting his car safely parked behind Selena's, he grinned. It was a beautiful black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. He had saved up his whole life for it, and his mom helped pay a bit of it. Though his sister preferred the class muscle cars, Mason loved the newer builds of the Camaro. Though it was quite expensive, he got it from a friend for a pretty good price as well. He looked back to the two ladies. "How many cars are we taking?" He asked, hoping he'd be able to drive his Camaro.

Mandy was in a magic supply store that was hidden by being Disguised as a normal store and well Mandy was stalking up on everything since when they started unpacking two days ago they found that many of their vials of stuff were broken and un useable. She grabed things like clothes to make her seem like a normal shopper and wormswart and and even some bones of different animals some that have been gone for many centuries. Durring her shopping trip she had gotten many strange looks for her outfit but well she liked her outfit and she thought they looked like the rodeo clowns. She got to the cashier and paid for her things not even caring what look the woman was giving her 'man are their no witches in this little hell hole i mean their are magic stuff here and their are no witches.' She quickly walked out and waited picking up her cell phone and called her teacher telling him she was ready to be picked up.

Selena looks at Mason "We can take your car and Michelle. We could use her's trunk to carry most of the stuff." She says locking her car again "Mason, you dont mind me riding with you?" Selena says as she walks over to his car "Because I never rode in a Camaro and I want to see how it is" Selena says looking at him but she really wanted to talk about what he said back in the resturant.

It tore at Mike's heart seeing Ace like that. Like she was about to cry her heart out. He wished he could got to the city and hurt every single person that had hurt Ace. It pissed him off what some city folk thought they could do. Hell, he was bad. But he wasn't that bad. And he would certainly never hurt Ace on purpose. Not even as mad as he was now at her. He was the country jerk, but city jerks were way worse than he'd ever be. Sadly, he nodded at her question. "Different. To say the least." He muttered not wanting to go into details. He was sure she'd already heard it all by now. Michelle had known quite a lot about his changing, a very reasonable and understandable thing. He sighed and kicked at the dirt again.. "You left..." He finally muttered to her. Something he'd wanted to say in a very long time. "You just left me." He looked up at her now. He wanted her to see the hurt in his face. In his eyes. Because no words could tell what he felt better.

Michelle laughed at Mason's words and waited on what Selena's verdict was. She smiled and nodded to the decision. She didn't mind riding alone, and had she been in Selena's place she would've wanted to ride in Mason's cool car too. She walked up to her big truck and scrambled in, just like always. A hell of a way up, but an awesome ride so high. She turned her engine on and slowly the engine purred. She sighed and shrugged, leaving the door open while she buckled up. She still neede to know where they were going first. She didn't want to get lost. Getting lost in the country was stupid. Really stupid. Just because it was such a small town and no other reason.

(I got bored...)

DarkAngel562415 09-13-2010 03:00 AM

Selena walks over to Michelle "You lead the way, I cant really remember my way around yet. So if you know where a grocery store is, we can start there" She says and text her the list so when they get to the store they could split up. Walking back over to Mason, she gets inside putting her seat belt on. "So Mason, what was that you were saying?" She says looking over at him.

musikfreakx 09-13-2010 01:29 PM

Aysel's eyes began to water openly. She couldn't stop it, even though she tilted her head up to try and stop the tears from flowing past her eyelids. "I know... I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice was hoarse and cracking. She felt a tear slide out of her eye and down her cheek. She viciously wiped it away, hating how vulnerable she was. She never liked being vulnerable. It made her feel weak. She had developed a kind of guard around herself when she went to the city, to keep her protected. But it was useless now as she stared up to Mike. He was a few inches taller than her, but she could still easily read the hurt on his face. It killed her more than anything, maybe even more than her father leaving her. She knew how it must have been like for Mike; she had experienced it herself. She remembered coming home from pre-school that sunny Wednesday afternoon, smiling and asking where daddy was. She had thought it was a joke, like hide and seek, and had searched for him. Her mom told her he didn't want them any more and left. Aysel had gotten mad, thinking her mom was joking. Then, five year old Aysel witnessed her mom break out into tears and sobs. Aysel had joined her. "I'm so sorry," Aysel repeated quietly, hating herself inside. she didn't think he'd ever forgive her, but in a way she didn't blame him.

Mason put his hands up in mock surrender. "Alright, alright," he said. "Just don't touch the paint," he warned. Like his sister, he rarely let anyone lay a finger on his car. But he led the way to it, opening the door to it with his shirt. He swept his hand out in a gesture as if he was saying 'after you' to Selena. He closed the door after her and hopped int he other side, pushing the keys into the ignition. He rolled down his window. "Lead the way Michelle," he shouted, grinning. He revved his engine loudly. When Selena asked him her question, he gave her a feigned blank stare. "I have no idea what you were talking about," he lied dumbly. He turned on the radio and sent her a mischievous grin before buckling his seat belt.

DarkAngel562415 09-14-2010 02:41 AM

"You know actually what Im talking about Mason Kade Black" Selena says turning her body in her seat so she was facing him "I heard you in the resturant, you're lucking Michelle didnt" She says leaning against the arm rest "So if I was you dont act stupid" She says punching his arms slightly. She knew he had a crush on her since they first meet. And the feelings he had towards her got even stronger when they both left the country.

Pulling out her phone again she makes sure she didnt miss anything. "Hey where is your sister?" She says looking over at Mason from her phone "I havent seen her since the little fight"

jayson526 09-14-2010 10:14 AM

Mandy was getting rather tired of waiting but just as she sat down her ride showed up and well it didnt help much with blending in with being a bright red suv. She jumped in and buckled up her teacher took the bag and placed it between them "i need you to go one more place we need food alright Mandy." "yeah alright." They drove off ending up behind Mason "you know i dont need to be here i will be fine." "oh really look at yourself Mandy your not the girl you used to be i miss the happy girl and like my teacher said 'the country changes people.'"

Fairy_Tales_Are_Real 09-17-2010 08:35 PM

Mike watched her. He shook his head. He knew she felt bad, but that didn't change him. Part of him wanted to hug her, the other wanted to yell and be mean to her. He couldn't bring himself to do either of those. With a sigh, he nodded and took in a ragged breath. He moved away. "I have to go." He said finally and then almost ran back to his house, not letting her say anything else that would persuade him in any way. It was hard seeing her again. He had hoped to see her, and had hoped not to see her. It was very contradicting honestly. But that was what emotions did. They never made any sense, and when they did, you had problems. Once inside he stuffed his face. When he didn't know what to do he ate. A bad habbit. But his nonetheless.

Michelle nodded and then began to back out. Her car moving very slowly. Slowly, she drove to the nearest grocery store.

(its ok I know what you mean)

musikfreakx 09-18-2010 05:52 PM

((It's cool :D ))
Aysel let her head nod up and down. She wanted to chase after him, to wrap him in her arms and whisper apologies over and over, to comfort him and hold him. But she knew she shouldn't, wouldn't, couldn't. So she didn't. She watched as he ran off, then wiped the tears that had fallen down her cheeks. She could taste the salt on her lips where the tears had landed, and her eyes burned. She turned on her heel, making her way back into the car, where she sat down for a second, catching her breath.

The girl pinched her arm, an odd habit she had always had. Whenever something went wrong, or she was upset or angry, or even if things didn't feel real, she would pinch her arm or pop rubber bands against her wrist. Finally she laid her hands on the wheel, started the car, and drove off. For a second she didn't know where she was going, until she realized she had drove to the park. She hopped out, nearly forgetting to lock the car, and ran to the swing set. It had always been her spot. And once again, like so many years ago, Aysel sat on the black swing and held onto the slightly rusted chains, slowly pushing herself with her left foot as she stared at the white clouds over head as they milled about in the bright blue sky.

Mason groaned and rubbed his face with one hand. "Alright, you heard. Thanks for not saying anything to her," he said and shot her a mildly dirty, mildy thankful look.He followed Michelle's car, losing focus of his surroundings as he spaced out. He snapped himself out of the dreamlike state and focused on the road ahead. "I don't know. I think she went to the park. You want me to text her and she can meet up with us," he asked, raising an eyebrow in question. His foot tapped lightly on the floor board of the car as a song stuck in his head replayed over and over. He could imagine plucking the guitar strings to the beat of it in his mind; playing the guitar had always been a main hobby of his.
