Trivia couldn't help but smirk and shake her head. "Man you still have that fear don't you? The school elevator was crappy this one ain't so bad." she smiled lightly as she looked at Mikhail... He was still hot in her eyes though she didn't let it show in the least... How could he be acting so kindly to her? She thought he had hated her... Corse they never saw eachother again after school... That's why he didn't know about her 'job'.
He pouted indignantly. "I will always fear them. They can fall at any second. I just don't really wanna walk six floors to get to my room. That's a bit too much even for me." He grinned at that. He then stared at the speaker in the elevator as it started playing Hilary Duff. He rolled his eyes. "Lovely."
Trivia smirked slightly then gripped her head and whimpered softly. Without thinking she grabbed Mikhail's arm as her knees started to buckle. The room seemed to spin in her mind and her body started to feel cold and numb.
Mikhail scurried over to her and picked her up. The elevator opened and Mikhail's neighbor stepped out of his way, grinning. "Looks like I was wrong about you," he told Mikhail. Mikhail stared and walked to his room, sighing. He opened the door carefully and took her to the couch and laid her down.
Trivs snapped out of it slightly and managed to get the room to stop spinning and make her sight just a bit less blurry. "I'm sorry... He hit me too hard this time..." she murmured quietly as she put her hand up to rub her timples with her eyes closed. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about... I need help out of my contract and... I... I don't know how to get out of it... When I signed that stupid thing I was stupid I didn't read the fine print... When I tried to get out of my deal my boss showed me the contract and... I had pretty much sold my life away..." she said quietly looking at Mikhail worried about what he would say... Would he help her? Or would he just leave her to figure this out on her own?...
Mikhail frowned. That sounded like his issue, expect their contract was verbal. He chewed his lip. thinking about how to do it, without his job coming into play. "I'll think of something, just gimme a second." He shifted and two knives fell out of his pockets. He grabbed them quickly and shoved them away, frowning at them.
Trivia looked at him and stared at the knives when she saw them. "What the heck? Why do you have knives shuved in your pockets?... And don't lie 'cause I know you so it wouldn't help." she asked calmly not really seeming freaked out at all... She had seen much worse then just two little knives shuved in someones peckets.
Mikhail looks away. "...After you left I ended up getting a job as a hired assassin..." he says, without looking at her. He hated his job, but he needed a job, and it was there. And he couldn't get out, he feared his boss immensely. He fidgeted a bit, waiting for her reaction. Most people he knew weren't happy when the found out.
Trivs stared at him for a long few minutes then put her hand on her face and slowly pulled it down thinking on what to say. She chuckle slightly shaking her head then looked at him softly. "Well it looks like we both got ourselves into some pretty screwy situations... For me that would be litteral. Is there anything we could do? I mean... We can try to help each other out maybe... Hm... Does your boss go to clubs?" she asked thinking deaply on what she was about to say if yes.
Mikhail grinned. "Nah. He's completely gay. Which sucks for me. More so for Dimitri, though. he's the one our boss pines over. I could try threatening your boss. Or let my boss get into a fight with him." He shrugged, thinking.
Trivs smirked slightly as she listened to Mikhail "Who ever said the club was strictly straight? And my boss is bye... Hm... Getting them into a fight could work... I just thought of something... Though I'm not sure if you'd want to do it..." she murmured softly looking up at the ceiling now.
"Well, if we let our bosses fight I know my boss will order a hit. And I'll be the one doing it. Sadly. But, I'm open to other ideas, so do tell." He grinned, amused. He didn't mind killing his boss, he'd actually thought about it a few times.
"Well... I was thinking we let them go at it then when their destracted we take 'em out... If I had a gun I'd kill my boss myself... Though I don't but you do that's why I said I didn't know if you would want to do it..." Trivs mentioned looking back at Mikhial wondering what he would think.
"Guns are so loud," he mused. "I have knives and other things that'd be quieter." He paused for a moment, debating using his normal method, which is his power over water. He doesn't bring it up though. He doesn't seem as upset as he normally would, and that's confusing him a bit. He chews his cheek as he thinks.
Trivs cocked her head slightly as she looked at him. "Whatcha thinkin bout?" she asked knowing the way he looked whenever he was thinking. In the past she had spent so much time with him she could almost read him like a book... Even now for the most part... Years after they had went their seporate ways... She still regretted everything that was said.
"I'm confusing myself," he stated honestly. "Normally I hate killing people, but now, I'm not as upset as I thought I'd be...and it puzzles me, greatly." He frowned a bit at that fact, and shrugged.
Trivs stared at him for a moment then smirked slightly... The way she used to... The way he had liked to see her smirk. "And how many years have you been doing this? I would think by now you wouldn't care... I gues... I gues it's a good thing... I... I can't feel guilt... Not anymore... Not since my first gig... I felt dirty... Like a cheater..." she points out then frowns as she speaks the words she never thought would come out of her mouth... Though they were true. When she had her first gig she felt extremely guilty because she thought of it as if she were cheating on him...
Mikhail's neck went red at the smirk, like always. He didn't blush like a normal person, unless he felt stupid or something similar. "I'm a wuss, we know this. It's always bothered me. I guess I just don't like seeing their fear once they realize what I'm doing..." He shrugged. "Meh, I dunno."
Trivs couldn't help but grin at the red coloring that his neck turned when she had smirked. Ow she knew how her smirk had effected him before along with a few other things... Though... She didn't know if those still would. She nodded quietly with soft eyes as she listened to him. "You know... You haven't changed a bit over the few years we haven't seen eachother... I'm glad you haven't..." she murmured softly as she looked at him with her deep lilack eyes.
"Why, 'cause I'm still a wussy spazz?" He looked amused at that. "Nah, I changed right after my boss found me. He almost brainwashed me, but I got out of those thoughts fairly quickly. He tried to kill my barely there self-esteem, which failed due to my fear of red--including blood. I panicked at him." He snickered, amused. It was funny looking back on it.
"Wow... so... then tell me... how much have you changed..." Trivs asked softly not knowing if she wanted to know really. She had missed him so much over the years she couldn't even really comprehend that she was actually in his appartment... talking to him! She wished that fight had never happened... she wished they could have just avoided all of this... that they hadn't been sepporated and got into so much crap that they had...
"He used my fears to control me. If he had told me to kill you, at that time, I would have. Unflinchingly. Because I feared him more than anything else. ...He was a lot like my father." Mikhail's father was emotionally abusive and would taunt him for everything.
Trivs stared at Mikhial for a long moment then had to look away for even the thought hurt her. She could never see him killing someone no matter who... even though they had just moments ago talked about it. She couldn't believe what he was saying would he have really killed her if he had been ordered to? Did his bos know about her? The thought sent chills through her and brought fear to her mind. "Does... does he... does he know about me? About how much I had meant to you..." she asked in a hushed tone the words almost not coming out.
"I never told him anything beyond my name, age and parents names. I did tell Dimitri about you, which is why he wasn't surprised when he saw you. But, he'd never go against me. ...The cadaver twins would have though." he shuddered at the thought of that. He folded his legs under him and chewed his lip carefully. "He only would have asked if he'd seen you with me. Then he'd probably have sent me with that hit." He frowned at that.
"What do you mean? What hit are you talking about?" Trivs asked softly as she looked back at Mikhail wondering what he was talking about... would she become the hit? The target next? What would his bos do to her if he saw her? Or those twins he had said something about... what would they have done to her? She didn't know if she wanted to know the answers to these questions truthfully she just couldn't help but think them up.
