Ohh! I didn't notice they had a bar soap section! -retard moment- Both of them look really amazing!....I can't believe I'm getting so excited about soap. :XD
And that Caramel and Honey soap does sound good! But then I might start trying to eat it. :P So far, lavender oatmeal seems to be a great moisturizer, anti-bacterial, and all around great soap. I think I'll try that one first! c: |
haha I'll have to wait until I have money, but I'm definitely gonna try the Honey and Caramel from Lush and the Chocolate bar from Herbaria. >D

I'm 21 and I still get it, though not as bad as I used to (unless I'm unlucky enough to be stuck with a combination of every single thing that could possibly cause a breakout). For the most part, I find that a mixed routine of washing with some sort of acne scrub/soap, using spot treatment gel, and just rinsing with water works well for me. Some days I do one, some days I do the other(s), and some days it's all three at different points throughout the day. Which combination I use on which day depends on the condition of my skin (how oily or dry, how many spots, and what kind of spots they are). Showering regularly to keep my hair free of oil and pinning it away from my face are also pretty important, as my hair tends to be naturally oily and if I let my bangs hang against my forehead for too long, I will be likely to break out there.

God, I remember in middle school, I was unfortunate enough to have a pimple right in the middle of my forehead. My friends little brother asked me, in front of her, what it was.
Yeah. |

It's not that i'm just doing "whatever" It's pretty hard to maintain the "non-stressing" vibe. VERY hard. Also I have to use this liquid thingy-mabobers and if I skip a time, then my skin will go crazy! But it's also very sickening to constantly eat junk food. I feel so unhealthy, but for some reason my skin wants it that way... If I eat healthy, it will go crazy as well. I could just die if I keep eating this way. So it's either, have normal looking skin, or die. :p Pretty dumb i know... But I really don't know what else to do? |
aww. Maybe if you just keep eating healthier over time, and occasionally have a small treat, your skin will behave right and you can feel better?

I've got combination skin also. It's pretty much the worst. :/ Not to mention that on top of regular acne, I've got big problems with black heads and filling pores. My nose has been speckled with hundreds of tiny blackheads pretty much since puberty started, but lately they've begun migrating to areas less easy to deal with, like my cheeks. Honestly, I've tried just about every acne product on the drug store shelves, and I've had next to no luck. It's just a matter of what totally wrecks my skin (dries it out, makes it oily, makes it blotchy, etc.) and what just keeps it at neutral. Nothing really helps that much. :(
I'm only 19, so that I've still got stuff from puberty isn't surprising or unusual, but I had really hoped it'd be going away by now. But looking at pictures of myself from when I was 16, it seems my actual acne breakouts aren't as bad as they used to be. |
I read onions helps make them go away... haven't tested it but... most teens don't eat onions do they? XD
|
I eat them sometimes. I don't go out of my way to eat them, though. But if they're part of a recipe...why not?
|
That's a joke right happy? O.o
|
No... lol My mom and little sister LOVE onions. My mom ate them as apples when she was a kid. I'm not in love with them, but I'd rather eat onions that any number of other things--broccoli in particular.
|
OH Onions XD thought you meant pimples...
|
You kiddin' me? They're like those gushers candies where you bite into them and SPLOOSH, your mouth is filled with gooey goodness! Yum yum!
|
I went to the doctor and got some pills and better quality topical treatment and it's nearly all better, mine used to be SO bad.
|
*shudders* Cherry... that's just... wrong...

I'm just going to visit the skin doctor guy. I haven't really gone ...and MAYBE he/she will have a solution this time. |
Celementine: Aww! Well, at least make sure you drink lotsa water. It flushes a lot out.
Wandering Poet: LOL really? Ew Cherry:  Grosssss. I agree with Clementine. So wrong. xP But funny. haha |
I'm 25 and I still have acne. It's not bad like it was when I was a teen, but it still is a pain to have . I usually wash my face good with soap every night but during stressful times it pops back up.
|
Yeah I do drink lots of water now. But It doesn't help that much.
Stress is what causes them to appear like 90% of the time U_U |
Well, then. Don't stress so much! ;) Actually, stress causes HUGE flareups for me. My mom would always be able to tell when my dad was pissing me off, 'cause I'd have major breakouts all over.
|
It's almost impossible for me not to stress out. -.-'' That's like telling me not to breathe x0
