"Apparently, maybe he thinks he owns you." he says guessing. "Maybe he doesn't want anybody else falling for you and taking you away from him." He felt this strange feeling begin to grow inside of him.

"Maybe. I just know that he doesn't want me to leave" she said.

"Where did you come from?" he asked curiously.

"I was a princess. I was on my way back home with my father when lockheart attacked us. he killed my dad and took me." she said

"I'm a prince in the town just over there. I don't know why I haven't had problems with him, I come to this spot a lot and he's never tried to hurt me, I just write poetry or sleep though." he says. "If I could get you out of here would you have a place to go, do have other family, I don't mind you stayng with me, I just want to make sure everything is established before I go stopping this horrible thing, I couldn't do that if that meant you were going to be shealterless, is all, I'd be responsible for that at first, well to make sure you did have a place to go."

"no my mom died when I was young. I don't have any other family." she said.

"Would you like to stay with me?" he asked her. "I have a nice smaller, still big house next to my parents, we had an arrangement for that, i didn't feel like living with them." he says.

"sure. if you can defeat him." she said

"Cool, I do have to defeat him, but will you have this curse when he's defeated?" he asked. "I think you like to be able to be human, don't you?"

"yes i love being human and i will be free of this curse when he is destroyed. i use everymoment of my being human in the night enjoying it," she said looking at him.

He hugged her not thinking. "I will find his weakness, everyone has one, we could make him think that I was harming you, and that would distract him, but I won't if you don't want to of course."

"no its ok. that might work." she said smiling.

"Okay, what would work though?' he says thinking about this. How to trick a spell caster, it was a tricky thing.

"making him think i was being harmed might work. he would come out of his tower. you would have to be quick and smooth with your fighting move," she said.

"I will, we'd have to make him come close enough for me to damage him though." he says. "I've got it, but so you'll be better at your part, I won't tell, you, but you will need to trust that I won't actually hurt you." he hopes she does.

"dont worry i trust you," she said.

"Good, that wull make this much easier." he says. "So when do you want to do this?" he asked.

"tonight is almost over so tommorow night ok," she said. she noticed the sun almost up. she didnt know what else to do. "i trust you," she siad and kissed him. the sun peaked over the horizon and she transformed back into a swan.

He was speachless when she kissed him. "Okay." he says to the swan that was once the woman with him during the night. He then realized that he was still tired, and he knew it wasen't a dream either. He ran to his house and laid down for a quick nap, then he'd finalize his plans.

lockheart came up to katrina. "how romantic. doe she know you wont be changing again because of the new moon," he chuckled evily. Katrinas face showed saddness. she had know that but she still wanted him to try.

He had a feeling there was a detail he was missing. When he woke up his mom was knocking on the door, when he answered, she told him they were having festives for the new moon, and they'd be over the next stage of the moon cycle. He regreted to think this, but he had to be there, so he'd have to save her when the festives were over.

[time skip]

the sun was getting close to setting. she didnt care. she wouldnt be changing anyway tonight and she doubted she would be saved.

He longed to go at least tell her of his obstacle for not being able to, he wrote a note in code that her goose eyes could decifir. It explained how he couldn't save her until the new moon ended because of festives, and he'd save her as soon as he could. He sent it by messenger pigoen that woul know secret ways of getting to the lake and where to put the message when she was looking, and not lockheart.

katrina was sitting under the tree. she saw the pigeon and read it. it would have worked out perfect if she had been changing. lockheart walked out from his castle with a girl who had been transformed to look like katrina. "well katrina your off to the festival." he chuckled. it was his daughter kaci. she could tell from her neckalce. she vanished into the woods towards the festival. they would trick the prince.

Angel got ready for the frist night of festives. He couldn't stop thinking of Katrina.
