We had to give away our cat long ago when we found out my dad was allergic :(...

Sabiir:: She was only three. She was always little and kind of sick though. She was my cat Sweet Pea's kitten from her second litter, her littermates didn't survive and she barely did, but we managed to save her. But I always knew she wouldn't live to be really old. She passed away about a month after I left home to move in with my boyfriend. :<
Artsy:: I'm so glad no one in my family was allergic to cats. I don't think I could live without a cat. |
What happened to the litter? Why did they die?

Yeah, it's a pretty destructive disease. They can live long lives if they never come into contact with any other diseases, but unless you have a very isolated kitty, that isn't going to happen. I'm surprised my guy hasn't gotten it, since he's an outside cat. Admittedly, all the cats he comes into contact with are owned by the neighbors. They're well groomed, vaccinated, well cared for, etc. No stray cats around.

Oh wow. I dont really know much about cats issues.. All of my past kitties have been outdoor cats so its a little surprising. No cats at the moment though unfortunately.
And hullo to everyone! :3 I wish I had a chance to be on more this weekend. |
