Although some of the drama is amusing.......SOMETIMES. Not in the amounts on other sites....and certainly when the site owner desides to re-release all the old items at the origonal price.

Oh, I didn't mean major drama like that, I just meant silly little tiffs between users. I've only seen two arguments on this site, I was an avid lurker.

Though I was working on another site, and the arguments that happened there were fantastic! The owner got absolutely ripped to shreds due to dodgy dealings, so it was good to see him get his comeuppance.

The users rebelled on the site I was referring to. First he decided to completely change the avatars making the old items null and void. When people bitched about that they redid the old items for the new avatars and let the old avatars still be used but there would be no new items for the old avi's which where WAAAAAAY better. Then he decided to do the whole release of old items at origonal donation price. The users rebelled and eventually crashed the site before quitting.

It no longer even exists.

Oh wow. That sounds like a massive train wreck. I hate it when sites go down hill. Though it is hard to find a good avatar site. Mene is the only one I've stuck with.

To be honest - as long as I'm not connected to it, I enjoy watching it too. :)

Cheating doesn't make the game fun....its just sucky at that point.

I heard when the games first came out there was no gold limit. That was just before my time though.

I technically joined in 2007, but I wasn't active until late 2008, almost 2009, so I don't remember the bank, either. It's alright, though, it isn't as if we really need it, since we can function just fine without it.

I remember there being a bank but I wasn't around much when I first joined. I joined in Feb. 2007 and was still pretty active on Gaia so I'd post over there instead of here.

Yeah, it would have been cool, if it had ever worked :lol: One of the first examples of Josh's halfassery, that was xD Some friend of his coded the bank, and never finished it, which was why we never got any interest.

It's bugging me that I can't remember the details of the exploit now >< I'd actually forgotten that there was one until I saw it mentioned in here.

I just barely remember the bank, along with the lottery. I do remember that the same people tended to win every week though--I messaged someone about it and she told me she just bought a ton of tickets. xD;

Now I'm convinced that she was cheating. xD;
