Hm, the sand color didn't work for me...

You flee back insidem not quite feeling brave enough with just a broom. Maybe you should have grabbed that flashlight! Shivering in the entrance from fear you're startled into even more fear as you hear an ear splitting scream like someone is being attacked. Than cries for help! But you're so terrified, what should you do?!

A) Face your fear and run out to help the person in need
B) Go searching for that flashlight you saw so that at least you can penetrate the darkness.
C) Cling to your broom for dear life and find a closet to hide in.

Oh...! I was thinking SandyBrown- which isn't the right color at all. Perhaps using "Gold" for Yellow will work better (now that I have a proper name for it and all).

You're not going to be able to help the person screaming if you can't find them. Thinking quickly, you rush back to where you last saw the flashlight, still clutching the broom in your left hand. In the doorway of the room with the flashlight, you stop dead in your tracks. The panicked screaming suddenly sounds like it's coming from inside the house. More specifically... from below you. You gulp nervously. What's your next move?


A) You grope in the dark for the flashlight and hope the flashlight is what you have your hand on...
B) Somehow, the wand is back in your right hand. Perhaps it wants to come with you?
C) Maybe your broom is good enough. That's odd, the wood almost feels like it's moving under your fingers?

(I know A and B totally sound like continuations of each other, but they're meant to be separate options, I swear.)

Grabbing for the flashlight, your hands just closed on it when something brushed your hand. Bringing the broom handle done hard as you snatch the flashlight back, you clearly feel it hit... something... that meows in pain and leaps out the open door. Looking after it, you turn determindly away and towards the basement door. The screaming is coming from down there. Someone needs you! You open the door and the flashlight beam shows that the stairs are old and rotten. If you use them, they will break.


A) Use the old stairs anyways.
B) Look for another way in through a broken window.
C) Decide that the person might be a monster and run outside instead.
