BABYMETAL is better than Beiber. And that is all that needs be said.
|
I am kind of in love with Baby Metal. It's my first time hearing them, I will find out what they represent at a later date. The fact that they can make a dance to that is amazing. Heavy metal is really hard to dance to, lol. (At least to me it is.) Do they wear anything besides black and red? Going for a typical lolita goth look? C'mon, Japan, I know you can do better than this. xD The clapping hair is definitely a "Wtf" in my book. xDD Wth is that an advertisement for? |
I'd say its an ad for 'special hair gel' of the 'Something About Mary' variety?

Guess what I found! Tips and tricks in manga form! MOVING RUBBER explained in MANGA | GATSBY is your only choice of men's hair wax. |
@~longcat~ Sorry for the late response. I don't love it but I don't hate it... I could see it growing on me. As for what it is supposed to represent, I have no freaking clue.

Whoa! I... sorta, kinda like it? I guess. Maybe? I'm not sure. I think it's okay. I started liking the kind of music my mother calls "noise" when I was in 5th grade, so I'm not surprised that these girls are in this type of band. [=3]
I think this little japanese girl is more awesome though! The first time I saw this video I was like: [insane] |
Babymetal are fab and I love them. They've grown on me very quickly.

I have to say, I'm really digging this recent trend of mixing feminine styles with harder music genres. BabyMetal is pretty cool. I don't really like all of their songs, but it's so much fun to watch them dance and headbang. [lol] "GIve Me Chocolate" has actually made its way onto my playlist recently. It's got a good beat and isn't quite as WTF as the others.
I hope that it catches on and inspires more groups! |

:o It's the sign of the fox in Japan, but people from some Hispanic countries use it as bichito, or little bug. xDD |
To be honest I like BabyMetal. I listen to a variety of Japanese artists like Vocaloid, Perfume, and, of course, BabyMetal. ^^
|
I just found this and I'm actually pretty interested. I'm gonna have to listen to more. I don't really like the candiness of japanese pop or really heavy metal. Mixing the two together seems to create a sorta balance, though I doubt I'd ever really love it.

I like the singing part of that performance (done by the tallest member).
|
What the literal fuck did I just watch/listen to? Out of all the videos I have seen on them. There is nothing to show its representation to the traditional metal videos you see from other countries. To be completely honest it strikes me as a "I listen to metal. I'm so hardcore." type of attitude. Far too many smiles and just not enough "hatred" as seen in most of the metal genres.

Sal: the singing part really is nice.
I really don't understand what you're saying, Bartuc... |
